00:00The captain fronted the media this morning and Alyssa Healy was very confident that she
00:05will play tomorrow.
00:06She has been cleared by the team's medical staff but still she'll need to wait until
00:10the team is announced tomorrow.
00:12It's been surprising to me every single day that I've done some stuff, just how well it's
00:16responded.
00:17I was pushed pretty hard yesterday, I think you all saw me, I was blown a fair bit.
00:21I've never done speed nicking before in my life so it was good fun but obviously we've
00:26done that on purpose to try and see what I can and can't get through and I've pulled
00:29up really well so I'm really positive moving forward.
00:32The captain did train with the team this afternoon, it was only a light session.
00:36Now if she does play she's likely to only bat with Beth Mooney to keep the gloves as
00:40she did in the T20 series.
00:42Ash Gardner has also been cleared to play and told Healy that she is good to go.
00:46England will head into the match hoping to avoid a complete whitewash.
00:49It'll be the first time a team has whitewashed the series since the multi-format series was
00:53introduced back in 2013.
00:56We haven't played our best cricket at all as a side, we haven't shown what we're about
00:59and the next four days is a chance to do that for us to show exactly who we are as cricketers
01:03and who we are as people.
01:04There's a lot of character in that group and we're obviously hurting from quite a tough
01:08tour and disappointed that we haven't put out our best cricket for sure.
01:11It's also the first Test match that has been played here at the MCG in 75 years and a Healy
01:15inclusion would be a massive boost for the Aussies.
