00:05of Newspapers and welcome to our latest review where I'll be trying this thing in front of
00:09me.
00:10Now, many of you will immediately recognise that this is obviously a McDonald's drink,
00:15but what's inside it is something very different, a bit unique and something which I've just
00:19never tried in my life before and that is the Grimace shake.
00:23Now Grimace is obviously the cartoon character, which McDonald's, one of the cartoon characters,
00:28which McDonald's uses as one of their mascots, he's purple, he's shaped like a big jelly
00:35bean style thing, whatever, this is not my area of expertise as to try and define what
00:39the hell Grimace is, but the Grimace shake is the same colour as Grimace himself, it's
00:43very purple.
00:44I've not smelled it, I've not tried it, I've not opened anything to do with it, I'm doing
00:49it live on camera, let's try it out, let's have a, I'll have a smell first and see what
00:53it's like.
00:54Smells a lot like, do you know when you get like yoghurts which are like fruit of the
00:59forest kind of thing?
01:01Yeah, that's my immediate reaction, it smells like a fruit of the forest kind of yoghurt.
01:06I'm going to have a bash and see what it's like, but this is a limited edition milkshake,
01:11so yeah, if you're a Grimace milkshake fan and you didn't know this was out, head on,
01:15grab yourself one and see what it's like.
01:17Right.
01:19Quite yoghurt-y, quite sweet, not as sweet as I thought it'd be to be fair, it, yeah
01:29I was expecting it to be a lot more kind of like artificial tasting, but it tastes quite
01:35like, it's got a kind of strong taste of strawberry in there, that's quite nice actually, it's
01:45not strong as I thought it'd be.
01:48When you think of like a purple milkshake, which is part of their like campaign, not
01:52campaign, part of their like new range of things, which are obviously this one's based
01:57on Grimace, based on a cartoon character, you're thinking kids, you're thinking e-numbers,
02:01crazy colours, which obviously it's got, crazy flavours, loads of sugary stuff, but it's
02:05not like that, it's a bit more understated than I thought it'd be.
02:09Yeah, that's quite nice actually, that is way nicer than I thought it'd be.
02:17Like I said, I was expecting something really in your face, it's a lot more subtle, it's
02:20got a bit of vanilla to it, it's got a lot of strawberry and a lot of berries to it,
02:24it's nice.
02:25I don't know what flavour it's supposed to be, but yeah, it's really surprised me with
02:31how nice it is, the colour is even getting more and more appealing even though it is
02:34pretty, you know, unnatural, but yeah, that's the Grimace shake, I'm really pleased with
02:39that, I'm really surprised, it's taken me back by how nice it is, so I'm, yeah I'm very
02:44taken aback by how good that is, so yeah, let us know in the comments if you've had
