00:00Some passengers jumped from the jeep that was held up by a man in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. One man was killed and five others were injured.

00:12The suspect admitted to the crime and he is ready to pay for it.

00:18A female passenger lost consciousness while five others were injured.

00:25They jumped from the vehicle of a passenger jeep after it was held up in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City around 9.30 p.m.

00:32A 29-year-old woman was also injured in the hospital but her finger was declared as a rival.

00:38According to the jeep driver, she came from Lag Road to Cubao when they were held up by a man who was in the area of Don Fabian.

00:45The suspect had a knife.

00:47He just showed it to her and told her to admit that it was his bag, but the woman refused to give him her bag because her ID was there.

00:56He was afraid that the woman would steal his bag, so he gave it to her.

01:05Some passengers jumped, even though they were accompanied by the jeepney driver, because he was carrying a bag worth almost P1,000 in Commonwealth Avenue.

01:13The jeepney driver was approaching us from behind. I thought we were going to crash because I was so scared. I didn't know what to do. I really jumped.

01:20The jeepney driver ran away, but he was caught by the people of the town.

01:24The bag of the injured victim and the knife he used were returned to him.

01:28When we arrived at the area, the riders who were chasing the suspect were already there.

01:34When we arrived there, we just stopped them because they were injured.

01:42We brought the civilians and placed the suspect on a mobile phone so that he wouldn't get hurt.

01:48The victim was injured in various parts of his body and the suspect was 54 years old.

01:54He was previously jailed for theft. He admitted that he was a robber.

01:58What crime did I do to my family? I lost my job. I deserve to be punished for what I did to my family.

02:07The suspect was turned over to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit in Camp Karingal

02:11where he faces charges of robbery with homicide and physical injuries.
