00:00Police have arrested four men in connection with the incident in which two vehicles rammed

00:06into a group of people outside a nightclub in Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur last night.

00:13Kuala Lumpur Deputy Police Chief Azri Akmar Ayub said they will apply for a remand order

00:18on the suspects today, Berita Harian reported.

00:22In a statement, he said that the incident, which saw two people injured, was believed

00:27to have stemmed from a disagreement between the suspects and victims when they were partying.

00:32Earlier this morning, Brickfields Police Chief Kumashariman Kumar Mahmood said a report was

00:37lodged by a witness.

00:39A video of the incident widely shared on social media shows the two vehicles coming out of

00:44a side lane before driving into the people standing by the side of the road in front

00:48of a building.

00:50The vehicles then make a U-turn and drive against the flow of traffic before swerving

00:55to target the same group.

00:57Kumashariman said the case will be investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted

01:03murder, an offense punishable by at least 10 years in jail and a fine upon conviction.
