00:00The National Security Council clarified that the Provisional Agreement does not include asking for the permission of the Philippines to China.
00:08This is in the middle of the continued entry of the ships of the China Coast Guard in the West Philippine Sea.
00:14An ex-Minister of the Supreme Court said that the so-called agreement should be ended.
00:21The details are in the national news of Patrick De Souza of PGV Manila.
00:26This is Philippine Coast Guard Vessel BRP Teresa Magbanwa
00:30The BRP Teresa Magbanwa is conducting a radio challenge to the Philippine Coast Guard ships in the West Philippine Sea.
00:38The CCG 3304 is responding to this.
00:42But the PCG is denying the radio challenge of the Chinese ships in the Philippine Maritime Zones Act, UNCLOS, and the 2016 Arbitral Award.
00:52To avoid misunderstandings and miscalculations, please alter your course and leave this sea area immediately.
01:00You do not possess an illegal authority to patrol within the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone.
01:05You are directed to depart immediately and notify us of your intention.
01:10Your illegal activity will be reported to higher authorities.
01:14The China Coast Guard has been patrolling for 19 nautical miles from Zambales.
01:19The Chinese ships in the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone from Zambales have been patrolling for a month.
01:26The CCG 5901 or the Monster Ship was first deployed here.
01:32But the PCG did not stop here to ensure the protection of our maritime rights in a peaceful manner.
01:40Meanwhile, Retired Associate Justice Antonio Carpio said that the Provisional Agreement should not be extended to other parts of the West Philippine Sea.
01:49It is currently being discussed in the RORE Mission in the BRP Sierra Madre,
01:53where Carpio also believes that it should be terminated because of the possibility that China will use the agreement.
02:01Because China demands some limitation, we are already giving up our sovereign right.
02:07And China will use this example to expand this agreement in the West Philippine Sea.
02:13We have to, I'm anticipating China to do that already.
02:17The National Security Council clarified that the Provisional Agreement should not ask for the permission of the Philippines to China.
02:25Number two, there is no inspection of any of the ships that go to the RORE.
02:30And number three, there is no so-called supervision.
02:33As mentioned by Justice Carpio, we will never surrender our sovereign rights and our sovereignty.
02:41Because our position in Ayungin Shoal is very clear.
02:44And that the BRP Sierra Madre is there as the flag bearer and as a symbol of our sovereignty.
02:51Last July, the Philippines and China reached a Provisional Agreement
02:57after the most serious incident in Ayungin Shoal last June.
03:01Because of the harassment of the China Coast Guard.
03:04From People's Television Network, Patrick de Azuz for Panbansa news.
