00:05to talk about the Mariano Marcos State University Inauguration and Collaboration.

00:12Yes, Audrey, we're here at Mariano Marcos State University or MNSU.

00:17And there are people who want to greet you there in the studio.

00:25I love the energy of the members of MNSU.

00:28And of course, we have here with us now, the President of MNSU, Dr. Prima Fe Franco.

00:34Name bag na bigat, Dr. Franco. Good morning!

00:36Yes, name bag na bigat, ma'am.

00:38And happy 47th Foundation Anniversary sa MNSU. Congratulations!

00:42Yeah, thank you. We have celebrated our 47th Foundation Anniversary and that was last January 6.

00:51Atuloy-tuloy po yung mga activities.

00:53We have a month-long activity.

00:54Month-long activities.

00:56Ma'am, ano po yung mga major accomplishments ng MNSU looking back for the past 47 years

01:01and now that you're celebrating this milestone, Dr. Franco?

01:03Yeah, ma'am. We already have 14 colleges and our board programs are doing well.

01:09We have top-notchers and we have been considered a top-performing school in our health programs

01:20and even our teacher education and our college of law.

01:24And at the same time, we are doing well in our research activities and extension activities

01:31as well as our resource generation.

01:34Congratulations! And even sa mga board exams, talagang performing very well.

01:39Actually, the last one is our Bachelor of Science in Food Technology fared as number one

01:48in the board examination in the person of Ms. Devana.

01:53Alright. Well, later, Dr. Franco, we have another historic event.

01:57Ito po yung inauguration ng PTV Ilocos North Station at yung transmitter ay narito po mismo sa MNSU.

02:05So, what can we expect from this endeavor?

02:07Ano po yung mga inaasahan niyo rin pong beneficyo para po sa inyo pong para lang?

02:11Yes, ma'am. First, I would like to thank PTV4 for choosing the Mariano Marcos State University

02:18as the site of your transmitter, madam.

02:21And with this, our BACOM, BSDEVCOM, as well as our BS in Electronics Communication Engineering

02:33will have their immersion as well as on-the-job training.

02:40So, they will be exposed to the processes in the media world

02:46and the skills that they will learn will really prepare them for the job world.

02:51Actually, ngayon pa lang, maggano na kayo do, magtingin mo kayo sa loob ng OBVANO

02:56para makapag-immersion na kayo at simulan niyo na yan.

02:58So, sabi nga rin po ng aming general manager na si GM Toby Nebrida,

03:01this will really open opportunities for your students.

03:04So, may mga nagpahayag na po walang kanilang interest for possible internship and apprenticeship.

03:10Yes, ma'am. And we are also very happy because as part of our agreement,

03:1630 minutes will be given to the Mariano Marcos State University

03:20that will be managed by our STRATCOM.

03:22And in that way, we will be able to show to the world the activities that we have,

03:27the accomplishments, the projects and plans,

03:30so that the world will feel our existence as a university.

03:36Actually, so parang bukod sa napapalawak yung reach ng PTV,

03:40yung mga storya ng mga taga Ilocos Norte, particular ng mga taga MMSU,

03:44mas malayo po ang mararating ko ni Dr. Franco.

03:48And then, we are leveling up also in terms of the culture and the arts.

03:51We have our renowned filmmakers.

03:54We also have our Nasuti Corral that has won in the world in New Zealand.

04:02And we also have our Chatro Normal, which is excelling in theater arts.

04:09Wow! Nakakatawa, punung-punung ng talent dito sa MMSU.

04:13So, lastly, message yun na lang po sa mga students ng MMSU.

04:17To the students and the stakeholders of the Mariano Marcos State University,

04:23let us thank PTV for coming here in the campus,

04:28such that we will partner with them in the different endeavors of the university.

04:34Dr. Franco, thank you, thank you very much.

04:36And again, congratulations sa inyong 47th foundation anniversary.
