00:05Another tragic tragedy in Himpapawid.

00:08None of the 67 passengers on the plane and helicopter that crashed in Washington, D.C. were saved.

00:16Among those who were saved was Police Colonel Pergentino Malaved Jr.,

00:20who was in America to inspect the all-purpose vests purchased by the PNP.

00:25The PNP filed a case for his family's trip to America to bring home his vests.

00:32And Joseph Moro was involved.

00:39The girl who was the daughter of Police Colonel Pergentino Malaved Jr.

00:44did not hesitate to bring her family to the airport on January 22.

00:48Bye-bye, I love you.

00:52Malaved left for his 12-day official trip.

00:59But this was his last meeting with his father.

01:02Malaved was one of those who died in the crash of the American Airlines Flight 5342

01:07and a Blackhawk helicopter in Washington, D.C. on January 29.

01:1151-year-old Malaved was in America as the head of the Supply Management Division of the PNP

01:17because he inspected the more than 2,000 all-purpose vests purchased by the PNP from India.

01:22He was supposed to return by February 2, but the tragedy happened.

01:26In the report of the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Philippines in America to the PNP,

01:30the Washington Police first identified Malaved's vests based on the passport obtained from his vests.

01:36He was one of only 30 people from the more than 60 people who were in the accident who were recovering.

01:42But his family is still waiting for him to come here to the Philippines to officially identify his vests.

01:58The PNP informed the family that Colonel Malaved was here

02:03and they are also helping him to go to America to return his vests here in the Philippines.

02:19The PNP authorized Malaved to become a graduate of the PNP Class Kabalikat of 1998.

02:34We extend our deepest condolences to his bereaved family, loved ones, and colleagues.
