00:10Many children are suffering from hand, foot, and mouth disease in some places in Luzon.

00:20Connie, it was recorded in some places in Region 1 and Pampanga.

00:24In the monitoring of Region 1 Center for Health and Development from January 1 to 18 this year,

00:30the number of cases is more than 200 compared to 41 in 2024.

00:35The highest number of cases in Pangasinan and La Union is more than 100.

00:40Children aged 1 to 4 are the most affected by HFMD.

00:46In Angeles City, Pampanga, there are more than 50 cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease since January 20 this year.

00:54That's more than the number of cases reported last year, which was 13.

01:00According to the Angeles City Health Office, the victims are aged 1 to 8.

01:06The local government is already doing disinfection in various schools to avoid the spread of diseases.
