Wales’ national rugby team is a symbol of the country, but at the moment they’re flying the flag at half mast. After a full calendar year of losses in 2024, there was hope 2025 would be the year we get back to winning ways, but after a 43-0 drubbing by France, Welsh fans are concerned for the future of Welsh rugby.

00:00Very poor, very poor. Things can only get better. We're at the bottom now. They've got
00:07to build up again. As he says, it's the young side, so you'll always improve with the young
00:12side if you've got a good coach, won't you? Maybe you have to change a coach, you never
00:16know, but these things do happen. I mean, England didn't have it all their own way either,
00:23so yes, it's got to be improved. It can't be like last season, and hopefully it'll do better.
00:31I don't know what the hell happened. I remember our team, Wales, being the best, but games
00:40happen like that all the time, sadly, so it'll only take a matter of time for that to worsen.
00:45It was absolutely diabolical. I said I didn't see every bit of it because I was in a pub
00:52at the time, playing Skittles, but I did watch it. I knew what was coming, so I wasn't
00:56really concentrating. I didn't expect us to be zero, but it is what it is, isn't it?
01:04I don't know where it's going. Something's got to happen, not just on the field, but
01:15behind the scenes. They just didn't turn up, did they? They just didn't turn up at all, never.
01:20All I hope is that Italy don't beat them. That would be a disaster if Italy beat them,
01:25because Italy's on the up. They've improved every season. You can see the strength coming in,
01:31and they are trying. But as I say, they're improving, so we can only do the same.
01:39No, I can't see any signs of life, to be honest with you. Our regional rugby is rubbish compared
01:45to all of the other home nations and France, so where can we go from there? Our players can't get
01:51better rugby unless they go abroad, and then they can't play for Wales, so it's a lose-lose.
