00:00Again, a photo convention was held in Makati, and that was Photo World Asia, hosted by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation,

00:17where former DOT Secretary Nina Gabor and Undersecretary for the Consumer Protection Group of DKI, Atty. Teodoro Pascua, attended.

00:30I'm excited because it's been a long time that I have not seen a photographing exhibit.

00:37And at DOT, photography was part of our promotion. Without the photographs, there would be no digital media.

00:48So photography was really our main attraction. I think that we should really go with the change.

00:55So whatever it is now that is happening in the digital world, we should be able to marry the two industries together.

01:05You can say photography was adapted into technology, but on the other hand, you could say technology adapted to photography because photography was first before technology came in.

01:18Secretary Gabor hit it right at the head of the nail, you know. There has to be a marrying. You cannot put one without the other.

01:27Technology will keep on going, but there were things that have happened before that apparently we cannot get away from. Photography is definitely one of them.

01:38Some of the suppliers and brands of camera accessories, new technologies, and many more were present at the four-day convention.

01:49The exhibition of beautiful photos taken by several camera clubs will not be missed.

01:56The convention was even more chaotic because of the workshops and talks that were held.

02:01My topic will be on conceptual photography, meaning how I come up with these concepts, how I do the shoot, the type of editing I do, and how I bring everything together.

02:16For me, you can use AI to enhance or to aid in your photography, in your videography, but you should never use it to replace what you're doing.

02:29I've been a photographer since I was 16 years old. I attended the photo world, and I gained a lot of knowledge because of the seminars that the photo world gives.

02:42The importance of the convention is great because through such gatherings, each artist can strengthen their potential, and everyone is more open to change in technology.
