00:00In Batangas in Cote, the 26 individuals in Batangas, including the two Chinese, were involved in the smuggling of oil.

00:11That's 100,000 liters of what is estimated to be worth 13 million pesos, according to the June Federation.

00:21Customs troops, Coast Guard, and PNP-CIDG tried to enter San Juan, Batangas earlier this morning.

00:33A report was received that smuggling of oil was taking place.

00:41The smuggling of diesel from the motor tanker Filiza to the lined up tanker trucks was caught on the spot.

00:57217,000 liters of oil, worth 13 million pesos, were confiscated.

01:03Motor tankers and trucks were also confiscated.

01:0526 were arrested in the operation, including the two Chinese nationals.

01:10According to the information received by Customs, smuggling was taking place in the middle of the sea,

01:15where the crew of a foreign vessel was transferred to the motor tanker Filiza.

01:21The two Chinese nationals are said to be the communicators or negotiators of the crew of the mother vessel

01:30that they see in the high seas because the crew of the mother vessel is also Chinese.

01:39Among the complaints of those arrested,

01:42the owner of the vessel and the tanker trucks is accused of violating the Customs Modernization Anti-Theft Act.
