00:44the two men panicked, abandoned their bike and fled into the thick undergrowth.
00:49Officers did not pursue them into the jungle.
00:52No accidents were reported and no arrests were made,
00:56but police seized the motorcycle for further investigation.
00:59Police have since identified the owner and issued a summons under Section 64 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
01:07Superintendent Simeon reminded the public not to flee from police checks,
01:12warning that such actions could have serious legal consequences and pose safety risks.
