00:01Happy Midweek to all of us, I'm Benison Estareja.
00:05Today, Wednesday, the cold North-East Monsoon is still expected.
00:10It's affecting a large part of the Luzon, so it's a bit strong right now.
00:14It's also expected to be weak until it rains properly.
00:17For Visayas and Mindanao, there's still the effect of a hot East Release
00:21or the wind from the east that brings rain,
00:25especially in the part of Mindanao and Eastern Visayas.
00:28Based on our latest satellite animation,
00:31we have cloud clusters that are visible in the east of Mindanao.
00:34Although the chance of it being a storm is low,
00:37we are monitoring it for possible formation as a low-pressure area.
00:43Today, in a large part of Luzon, there's still the effect of a North-East Monsoon.
00:48It will still bring light to moderate rains here in Cagayan Valley,
00:52Cordillera Administrative Region,
00:54and the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.
00:57So make sure that we still have umbrellas,
01:00and be careful of floods and landslides.
01:03Here in the remaining part of Luzon,
01:05it's still expected to be cloudy and cloudy skies,
01:08but there are also places where it's only morning and the weather is gloomy,
01:12including the remaining part of Calabarzon, Bulacan, Metro Manila,
01:16Oriental Mindoro, and Marinduque.
01:18While the remaining part of Luzon is cloudy,
01:21and there's a chance of rainfall,
01:24or lightning and thunderstorms, especially in the southern portions.
01:27Here in Metro Manila,
01:28the temperature is still expected to be between 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

01:37While in a large part of Northern Luzon,
01:39the temperature for today is no more than 30 degrees Celsius.
01:44For our fellow citizens here in Palawan,
01:46it's still expected to be partly cloudy and partly cloudy skies,
01:49and there's still a chance of rainfall, especially in the southern portions.
01:53For Visayas, because of Easter Easterly,
01:55there will be the most rainfall,
01:56during the Eastern Summer and Southern Lete before noon,
02:00while the remaining part of Visayas is partly cloudy,
02:03and sometimes it's sunny from morning to noon.
02:06But by noon,
02:07a large part of Eastern Visayas and Central Visayas will be cloudy,
02:12which will also be affected by rainfall,
02:14or lightning and thunderstorms, because of Easter Easterly.
02:17Our temperature in Metro Cebu is between 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:22And for our fellow citizens in Mindanao,
02:24it's expected to be partly cloudy if you're in the eastern part,
02:27including the Caraga Region and Davao Oriental.
02:30As a result of Easter Easterly,
02:31there will be scattered rainfall and thunderstorms,
02:33so there's still a chance of rain and landslides.
02:35The remaining part of Mindanao is partly cloudy,
02:38and it's usually cloudy from morning to noon,
02:41then from afternoon to night,
02:43it's mostly cloudy skies,
02:44and there's a higher chance of landslides and landslides.
02:49Our temperature in Metro Davao and Zamboanga City is up to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:55For now, because of the strong Easter Easterly,
02:57we still have gale warnings in parts of Northern Luzon,
03:00including Batanes, Ilocos Norte,
03:03and the whole of Cagayan, including the Baboyan Islands,
03:06by Bayan Parinang Isabela,

03:27Then, by Friday evening until the weekend,
03:30a large part of Northern Central Luzon and Eastern Seaboards of Southern Luzon
03:35will have landslides
03:37due to the recent impact of the cold weather.
03:41And for our 4-day weather forecast,
03:44tomorrow and on Friday, that's February 6 to 7,
03:47the effects of the cold will continue here in Micagayan Valley,
03:50Cordillera Region, and Aurora.
03:52It will still bring light to moderate rains and low temperatures.
03:56But the shear line will return.
03:58This is the coast of Amihan and the Easterlies.
04:00A large part of the country will have rains.
04:03And sometimes, it will be strong.
04:05It will also affect the entire Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Visayas,
04:10Northern Mindanao, and Caraga Region,
04:12as well as nearby areas such as Metro Manila.
04:15It will be rainy, especially on Friday,
04:17here in the Davao Region and Northern Mindanao.
04:20That's why we're just now warning them of possible floods and landslides.
04:25And most likely, we'll also have issuances
04:27such as weather advisories and even heavy rainfall warnings.
04:32For the sake of time, over the weekend,
04:34the shear line will return.
04:36It will affect a large part of Central and Southern Luzon
04:39as well as a part of Cagayan Valley.
04:41While this part of Cagayan Valley,
04:43and here in Cordillera and the Ilocos Region,
04:46will still be affected by the Northeast Monsoon,
04:48as expected by the rains.
04:50Sometimes, the rains will be strong here in a large part of Luzon over the weekend.
04:53So make sure that you still have an umbrella.
04:55Please incorporate these rains
04:57if you have plans to go out of the house
05:00and it will be difficult for you to dry your clothes.
05:03When it comes to Visayas and Mindanao,
05:05there will still be an effect of hot Easter leaves.
05:07At the same time, there will also be a high chance of rain in the Eastern Visayas,
05:11Caraga and Davao Region.
05:13So bring an umbrella if you're going out of the house.
