00:00♪♪
00:08Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States.
00:13♪♪
00:38Thank you very much.
00:52This is a nice crowd, isn't it, huh?
00:55You've been waiting a long time for this.
00:57So have I.
00:58Actually, it was so ridiculous.
01:02But here we are.
01:04And this doesn't have to be long.
01:06It's just all about common sense.
01:08Doesn't have to be long.
01:09In a few moments, I'll sign a historic executive order to ban men from competing in women's
01:17sports.
01:18It's about time.
01:32Under the Trump administration, we will defend the proud tradition of female athletes and
01:37we will not allow men to beat up, injure, and cheat our women and our girls.
01:43From now on, women's sports will be only for women.
01:56But before going further, I want to share some very exciting news from our military.
02:01After years of shrinking force numbers at levels that nobody has ever seen before, four
02:07years of this we went through, and missed recruiting targets every single month, it
02:13was just announced that in December, the U.S. Army had its single best recruitment in more
02:18than 15 years.
02:27Every single day, nearly 350 new soldiers enlisted to defend our nation.
02:33And they're very, very happy to have done so.
02:36We've done lots of interviews, and we asked why this was taking place now, and they just
02:41said there's a spirit about our country that they haven't seen in many, many years.
02:46And I happen to agree with that.
02:51And it really is clear proof that the spirit is sweeping our armed forces, and we have
02:58a great leader in Pete, as you know.
03:01We all know Pete so well.
03:03He's going to be fantastic, and so many of our great heroes, and people are starting
03:07to understand what hero is all about.
03:10So that is something that is very important.
03:13We've gotten the woke lunacy out of our military.
03:20And now we're, very importantly, getting it out of women's sports.
03:25That's taking place very strongly.
03:30So in recent years, the radical left has waged an all-out campaign to erase the very concept
03:36of biological sex and replace it with a militant transgender ideology.
03:42You've heard a little bit about this, haven't you, huh, just a little bit?
03:46Does anybody agree with them?
03:47No.
03:48It would be not a good thing to say yes right here.
03:53Female athletes have been forced onto the front lines, and men claiming to be girls
03:58have stolen more than 3,500 victories — that's a lot — and invaded more than 11,000 competitions
04:05designed for women.
04:07Last year, a male cyclist posing as a woman competed in the 800-mile Arizona Trail Race
04:14— a very big deal in cycling — and obliterated the woman's course record by nearly five
04:20and a half hours.
04:23Sounds like a lot, doesn't it, huh?
04:25Five and a half hours.
04:26Oh, but you have to hear the weightlifting records.
04:30You think that's bad.
04:31The weightlifting is worse.
04:33In 2023, a man in women's powerlifting broke two world records and outlifted his closest
04:41female opponent in one event by 440 pounds.
04:48And they continue to defend themselves, Mr. Congressman.
04:52You know that, right?
04:53They continue to defend themselves.
04:55We hope they continue onward because I don't think we can lose a race.
05:00This was one of the big reasons that we all won, and it's one of the big reasons that
05:04we had a record, a landslide like they haven't seen before — very often, anyway.
05:11And who could forget last year's Paris Olympics, where a male boxer stole the woman's gold
05:16medal after brutalizing his female opponent so viciously that she had to forfeit just
05:21after 46 seconds.
05:23And she was a championship fighter.
05:25And actually, they had two women, or two people, that transitioned, and both of them won gold
05:31medals.
05:32And they won them very convincingly.
05:35But all of that ends today because, with this executive order, the war on women's sports
05:39is over.
05:40Thank you, everybody.
06:11I should have been done long ago, actually.
06:24Thank you very much.
06:26With my action this afternoon, we are putting every school receiving taxpayer dollars on
06:31notice that if you let men take over women's sports teams or invade your locker rooms,
06:37you will be investigated for violations of Title IX and risk your federal funding.
06:42There will be no federal funding.
06:52So this will effectively end the attack on female athletes at public K-12 schools and
06:58virtually all U.S. colleges and universities.
07:01I don't think we've missed anything.
07:02But if we do, we'll make it up very quickly with an order.
07:08And I don't think we will at all.
07:09I want to, before we go on, I want to thank so many people that have worked so hard in
07:14the political establishment.
07:15And they're before me, largely.
07:18And I'm going to — I think I'm going to miss a few.
07:20It always happens when you do this, but it's just one of those things.
07:23But we have many senators here, many governors here, many state attorneys general — generals
07:30here.
07:31They're all over the place, actually, I see.
07:34Some of them went after me, but they failed.
07:48And they're really friends, and they're friends of women's sports, that I can tell you.
07:51So Senator Marsha Blackburn — where's Marsha?
07:58Hi.
08:00Senator Katie Britt.
08:02Thank you, Katie.
08:06Mike Lee.
08:07Where's Mike?
08:08Mike?
08:09I love his new haircut.
08:12I love that haircut, Mike.
08:15He just hit the hell with it, right?
08:18I think you look great.
08:21Senator Cynthia Loomis.
08:22Cynthia, where are you?
08:23Cynthia?
08:24Hi, Cynthia.
08:25Doing a good job.
08:28And Roger Marshall.
08:30Thank you, Roger.
08:31Great.
08:33Mark Wayne.
08:34Mullen, Oklahoma.
08:35I love Oklahoma.
08:36I don't know what it is, Oklahoma.
08:40I went 77 out of 77 counties.
08:43It's never been done.
08:45Second was Ronald Reagan, 56, right?
08:50And Tommy Tuberville, a great coach.
08:57You know, his quarterback was named Mahomes.
09:00He was a great college coach.
09:02And I said, how good was he?
09:04He said, you don't want to know how good.
09:06He made me into a great coach.
09:09He's a pretty good quarterback, right?
09:11Yeah, he was very good.
09:13He's a good guy, too.
09:16Also governors, we have Governor Glenn Youngkin, Virginia.
09:19Thank you, Glenn.
09:21Good job.
09:23Bill Lee of Tennessee.
09:25Bill, thank you.
09:28Jeff Landry, Louisiana.
09:30Thank you, Jeff.
09:33Kim Reynolds of Iowa.
09:36We're trying to move, you know, education back to the states.
09:40You do know that.
09:41We're making a big move, and we're counting on Linda McMahon.
09:45Linda McMahon.
09:47And sitting next to you is the new star is born, Caroline.
09:52Congratulations.
09:53You've done great.
09:55New star.
09:57New star is born.
10:00Patrick Morrissey.
10:01Patrick, congratulations.
10:02Great race.
10:04A great friend of mine, and he's really helped us at the border.
10:09Done a great job.
10:10Of Texas, Greg Abbott.
10:12Thank you, Greg.
10:18Jim Pillen.
10:19Where are you?
10:20Jim, very good.
10:21Very good.
10:22Are you feeling good?
10:23He had a bad fall.
10:24You're doing all right, huh?
10:25Good.
10:27You look great.
10:29Brad Little.
10:30Brad, thank you, Brad.
10:31Good job.
10:32Good job.
10:33Do you like education going back to your state?
10:37You'll make it top, right?
10:39You know, just so people understand, in the education world, we're ranked very, very poorly.
10:45We're 38, 39, and 40 out of 40 countries.
10:49We're at the bottom of the pack almost always or very close to it.
10:53That just came out.
10:54We're 40 out of 40.
10:56And if we move it back to the states, I will guarantee you that if you take Idaho, you
11:01take Iowa, you take almost any of the states that I'm looking at right now, they'll be
11:06as good as Norway.
11:08You have Norway.
11:09You have Sweden.
11:10You have Denmark.
11:11I must say, you have China that's very high in the pack, which is no longer we can say
11:15it has to be a small area.
11:17China is very big, but they do a very good job.
11:20But we'll have at least 35 of our states that will be as good or better than any of
11:26those countries.
11:27And we have to get it done.
11:33Attorney General Steve Marshall, Steve, thank you very much, Steve, wherever you may be.
11:39General Tim Griffin, thank you.
11:45Oh, a person who is so wonderful, Brenna Bird, where are you, Brenna, Brenna Bird?
11:56She supported me before people wanted to support me, right, Brenna?
12:02Wow.
12:04Thank you very much.
12:05I appreciated it.
12:07Andrew Bailey, great job.
12:09Where's Andrew?
12:10Great.
12:11Stand up, Andrew.
12:13One of the great attorney generals.
12:15Thank you very much.
12:16One of the greats, really.
12:17And Jason Meiris, thanks, Jason.
12:26And now we get back to our members of Congress, and we'll go quickly, but it's a great group
12:32of people.
12:33Steve Scalise is right in front here.
12:35What a brave guy Steve is.
12:40Steve went through a lot, and he proved one thing to me, only one thing, that his wife
12:44loved him.
12:46His wife loves him because I went to the hospital that night, and he was not given even a shot,
12:52right, Mike?
12:53And I was with him, and I was with his wife, and she was devastated.
12:56She was really devastated.
12:59And I've been to similar situations, not quite as bad, but the wives were not so devastated.
13:05And I can tell you, that great wife of yours loves you.
13:09So anyway, and what you've done is incredible.
13:12The way you've come back, you look better now than you did before it happened.
13:18But nobody wants to go through that.
13:22It's amazing.
13:23Tom Emmer doing a fantastic job.
13:25Thank you, Tom.
13:29Great job.

15:13It's easy.
15:14I think I will come.
15:16I think I'll come.
15:17If you're playing, I'll come.

16:37Thanks, Sherry.
16:39Great job.
16:42Nancy Mace.
16:43Where's Nancy?
16:44She's something.
16:46Oh, are you a believer in what we're doing, Nancy?
16:50Nancy takes it on right from the start, right?
16:54Would you like to say something?
16:55Would you like to say we're doing the right thing?
16:57Good.
16:58Good.

17:22Tim Burchett.
17:24Tim, I watched you on television the other day.
17:28You were unbelievable.
17:29You ripped that guy apart.
17:31Man, that poor guy, he started getting a little
17:33fresh with Tim, and Tim just ripped him apart.
17:36That was beautiful.
17:37I actually left a message.
17:40That's good.
17:42Great job, Tim.
17:43That was great.

17:54Dr. Ronny.
17:55He's a doctor, a great doctor, a great admiral,
17:57and a great congressman, right?
17:58Pretty good.
17:59He has his choice.
18:00What do you like doing best, Ronny?
18:02Who was the healthiest patient you ever had?
18:23You know why I liked him?
18:24The fake news asked, so, doctor, who's he had?
18:28Obama, Bush, and Trump.
18:30In the White House.
18:31The White House doctor.
18:32And they asked him, who's the healthiest of the three?
18:37He said, it's not close.
18:38It's Donald Trump.
18:40And from that moment, I loved this guy.
18:42Right?
18:43Thank you, Ronny.
18:47Wesley Hunt from Texas.
18:49Hi, Wesley.

19:17I appreciate it.
19:18Harriet Hageman.
19:19What a lawyer.
19:20Ooh.
19:23One of the best, one of the most talented lawyers
19:25you'll ever see.
19:26What she did to her opponent was horrible.
19:30Let's see, who was her opponent?
19:32Let's see.
19:33Ooh.
19:34Does anybody remember her opponent?
19:36We tend to forget.
19:37We forgot that one, huh?
19:39And, you know, your speaker, I'm going to
19:41introduce him later.
19:42But your speaker has been fantastic.
19:44Stand up, Mike.
19:45He's great.
19:46What a good man.
19:47A really good man.
19:48Also, some friends of ours.
19:49Sage Steele has been very strong on the issue.
19:50Sage, thank you.
19:51Thank you very much.
20:08Great job.
20:09Tiffany Justice, Tina Deskovich, founders of
20:14Moms for Liberty.
20:15And they were — they honored me, and it was
20:18a great honor.
20:18And thank you very much, both of you.
20:21Heather Higgins, Andy Botner, Victoria Coley
20:26from Independent Women's Forum.
20:28It's a fantastic group of people
20:30that fought very hard on this issue.
20:32I think everybody in this room
20:33really fought very hard on this issue.
20:36Kim Fletcher, do you know Kim?
20:39Kim Fletcher, do you know Kim?
20:41Kim Fletcher, do you know Kim?
20:44Debbie, I think Debbie's here.
20:47Crue Ledis, Crue Ledis, from also Moms of America.
20:53And Penny Lance, of course,
20:55CEO of the Concerned Women for America.
20:58That is a lot of people.
20:59Thank you very much, Penny.
21:00Good job you do.
21:01That's a lot of people.
21:03Can I give here, what are you holding?
21:05You'll sell it tonight.
21:08So, just to finish up,
21:10I'm directing the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio,
21:14who, by the way, is doing a fantastic job.
21:22In fact, he just left Panama.
21:24We're trying to take back the Panama Canal,
21:26little things like that.
21:28It'll all happen.
21:29But Marco is going to make clear
21:31to the International Olympic Committees there,
21:34and he's gonna make it as clear as anybody can make it,
21:37that America categorically rejects transgender lunacy.
21:41We want them to change everything,
21:43having to do with the Olympics
21:44and having to do with this absolutely ridiculous subject
21:48that we even have to talk about this subject.
21:50If you went back 10 years or 15 years
21:53and you would move forward and listen to this,
21:55you'd say, what the hell are they talking about?
21:57This is impossible.
21:58But you have people out there,
21:59Democrats that are still totally in favor.
22:03They can't win the argument.
22:04They can't win a debate.
22:06They look like fools, and they continue to go on.
22:09And it's okay, because as long as they do this
22:11and open borders and all of the other things
22:13they talk about, transgender everything,
22:16all they want to do is transgender
22:18and men playing in women's sports
22:20and all of these crazy things.
22:22And if they continue,
22:24I think we're gonna end up ultimately,
22:26it's not gonna matter,
22:27because we're never gonna go along with them,
22:29and we're just gonna keep winning elections.
22:30Right, Mike?
22:31Yeah!
22:32Woo!
22:33Yeah!
22:34Yeah!
22:34Yeah!
22:35Yeah!
22:36Yeah!
22:37Yeah!
22:38Yeah!
22:39Yeah!
22:39Yeah!
22:40Yeah!
22:41Yeah!
22:42Yeah!
22:43In fact, there is something terrible,
22:45because, I got the Olympics and I won't be President,
22:49and then what happened is that in election,
22:51strange things happened in that election.
22:54So I missed four years, and now I have the Olympics.
22:56It is, sort of, circuitous.
22:58It was a circuitous situation.
23:02And we also have the World Cup coming,
23:04which is gonna be fantastic,
23:06and we have, as you know,
23:07very importantly, 250 years coming.
23:09That's a big one next year,
23:11so that's a very big one.
23:12My administration will not stand by and watch men beat and batter female athletes, and we're
23:19just not going to let it happen.
23:20And it's going to end, and it's ending right now.
23:23And nobody is going to be able to do a damn thing about it, because when I speak, we speak
23:28with authority.
23:34And for the same reason, just to make sure, I'm also directing our Secretary of Homeland
23:40Security, Kristi Noem, who's also doing out there with you, Greg, a fantastic job.
23:46She's unbelievable.
23:47I was watching her riding yesterday on a horse.
23:50She was as good as anybody.
23:52She's very good.
23:53To deny any and all visa applications made by men attempting to fraudulently enter the
23:59United States while identifying themselves as women athletes to try and get into the
24:05Games may be where they are unable to get into the Games.
24:11We're honored to be joined today by many incredible advocates for women's sports, including the
24:16brave swimmer at the forefront of this battle.
24:20And Riley Gaines is a person that I've been watching.
24:26She fought hard.
24:39Riley was a 12-time All-American — well, that's pretty good — 12-time All-American
24:44who sacrificed countless hours in the pool just for a chance at the title that's so
24:49important to her.
24:50She gave up everything and gave — and just gave everything she had.
24:55But then the league forced her to share a spot on the podium with a male swimmer who
25:01took her trophy while the media celebrated this stolen glory.
25:05And Riley is just a tremendous athlete, and it was a very unfair situation.
25:10I watched it.
25:11A lot of people watched it.
25:12It was ridiculous, frankly.
25:13But I want to thank Riley.
25:15She really has been in the forefront.
25:17People that aren't that well-versed in this would say that she was the leader.
25:23And great job, Riley.
25:25Thank you very much.
25:26Appreciate it.
25:27And also with us is another great champion for women, Peyton McNabb.
25:36In high school, Peyton was a rock star athlete.
25:40Where is Peyton?
25:42Where is Peyton?
25:44Oh, I like Peyton.
25:47Nice to see you.
25:50Good job.
25:51Good job.
25:52That's easy to me.
25:54In high school, Peyton was a rock star athlete preparing for a future in college sports.
25:59But in one volleyball match, a much taller and stronger male spiked the ball right in
26:04her face, knocking her unconscious, partially paralyzing her right side and leaving her
26:10with a traumatic brain injury.
26:13And Peyton said it was 100 percent avoidable.
26:16If only my rights as a female athlete had been more important than a man's feelings
26:21and we can't let it happen and it's not going to happen.
26:31Not going to happen anymore, Peyton.
26:34Not going to happen.
26:35Are you okay?
26:36Are you good?
26:37Good.
26:38That's good.
26:40We're also pleased to be joined by many incredible leaders on this issue.
26:44And as I mentioned before, Speaker Mike Johnson, and he has been so strong on this issue because
26:50he's a man of common sense.
26:51I mean, it really is.
26:52It's common sense more than anything else.
26:54So Mike, thank you.
26:55Great job.
26:56Great job in everything.
26:58He's got the easiest job of any politician in history.
27:02He's got the nicest, like 200 and almost 20.
27:06It sort of varies between depends on how many people I take for my administration.
27:10It goes up and down a little bit.
27:12But I promised I won't take any more.
27:14I just wanted to see how good he was.
27:16I was testing you.
27:18We have some great people, but he's filling them up rapidly.
27:20He had some big wins the other day.
27:22Very big wins the other day.
27:24But you've done a fantastic job.
27:27Thank you very much, Mike.
27:28We appreciate it.
27:29We all appreciate it.
27:32And also the dozens of members of the House and Senate and governors that we attorney
27:37generals, so many people and the people outside that can't even get in.
27:40This room is packed and, you know, I offered to build a ballroom.
27:45I'm very good at building ballrooms.
27:46I build beautiful ballrooms.
27:47And I actually offered to build a ballroom for the White House.
27:51I was going to build it right there.
27:52This was going to be the reception room.
27:54And then I was going to build a beautiful, beautiful ballroom like I have at Mar-a-Lago.
27:58As beautiful as it can be, it was going to cost about $100 million.
28:02I offered to do it and I never heard back.
28:05I offered this.
28:06I offered to do it to the Biden administration.
28:09Very active administration.
28:11They didn't.
28:12They didn't hear back.
28:13And I said again and again, three, four times, I said to top people and they just didn't
28:18know what to do.
28:19They sort of said, this is good, but they had no idea.
28:23So I'm going to try and make the offer to myself, you know, because we could use a bigger
28:29room.
28:30Right, Marsha?
28:31We could use a bigger room.
28:32President, would you like to build?
28:35Yeah, I would.
28:36We could use at the White House, it would actually be a beautiful addition.
28:39It's going to cost nothing.
28:41I'll spend the whole thing myself or we'll do a big, beautiful room, but we could use
28:45it at the White House.
28:46You know what they do when they have a big ceremony to put up a tent?
28:51And somehow I think we've outgrown the tent stuff, right, don't you think?
28:55So we'll see if they can, we'll see if Trump will approve it.
29:00But the actions we're taking today are the latest in a sweeping effort to reclaim our
29:05culture and our laws from the radical left crusade against biological reality.
29:11On day one, I made it official and I'm making it official policy of the United States government
29:17that there is a, you know, two genders.
29:20We have two genders.
29:21What might they be?
29:23Man and woman, right?
29:25Male and female, male and female.
29:33Don't think of too many others, but it's pretty amazing.
29:37I rescinded federal funds to, and this is so important, to any program that promotes
29:43transgender ideology using taxpayer dollars.
29:46We're not going to do it.
29:47We're not going to do it.
29:52And last week I effectively banned the chemical castration and surgical mutilation of minor
29:57children.
30:12Can you believe I even have to say that?
30:14I banned, Governor, I banned.
30:17It's just like, who would ever think we have to even say that?
30:21Last week I banned.
30:23Every day we're ending the extremism of the last four years.
30:27We have other things that are just as ridiculous, not having to do with the subject, but just
30:32as ridiculous.
30:33Open borders where people are allowed to pour in from all over the world from jails and
30:38prisons and mental institutions and insane asylums.
30:41People that are very sick, people that are very evil killers, murderers.
30:46Many of them murdered more than one person.
30:49And we have to justify the fact that we're moving them out.
30:54We are moving them out in tremendous numbers.
30:55Tom Holman and Christie are doing a fantastic job, but, and the governor and other governors
31:00too, but we're, that we have to even fight for this stuff is just incredible.
31:06And the media doesn't want to talk about it because it's nothing they can talk about.
31:11It's just, they just don't want to really talk very much about it.
31:14Serious problem, but we're doing a great job and the people understand, and that's why
31:17we won in a landslide, you know, it's, it's, they made it easy.
31:22And at some point, you know, we have to hope they do come around because we can never let
31:26this happen again.
31:27What's happened to our country.
31:28We can never let this happen again.
31:34So we are restoring sanity and common sense very simply to our government.
31:40We're defending the rights and safety and pride of the American people, including our
31:45great, great, great female athletes.
31:47What athletes you are too.
32:00And you know, I'm not allowed to say this politically, it could end my career.
32:04They're really beautiful people.
32:05These are beautiful people, but, but you know, like everything else, it's a little bit different
32:11today.
32:12You're not allowed to say that because if you call a woman or a girl beautiful, that's
32:15the end of your career.
32:17But let's take a chance on it, Mike.
32:19Let's take a chance.
32:20So I'm going to, I want to thank everybody for being here.
32:23It's fantastic.
32:24And this is sort of a big, big day.
32:25It shouldn't have even been necessary to take place as she started a long time ago and we
32:31ended it today.
32:33And I'm going to sign the executive order right now and everything I said will go into
32:37effect immediately.
32:38Okay.
32:46You know, if you'd like to gather around me, I think I'm going to be okay.
33:15Secret services worried about them.
33:19We have to worry about them.
33:20We have big problems.
33:21Okay.
33:22Do you want to do this?
33:23Watch what I do.
33:24Then I'm going to give you some pens.
33:25Okay.
33:26Are you ready?
33:29What a nice picture.
33:30This is a governor.
33:31You're ready.
33:32We'll do a good job.
33:33Wait, let me press that.
33:34I want to make this a really good signature because this is, you know, this is a big one,
33:45right?
33:46Oh, I think we have a 10.
33:53We have a 10.
33:54Pretty good, huh?
33:55Okay.
33:56Good.
33:57Now you're going to go out and win those events, right?
34:10Nice to see you all.
34:17Great going, everybody.
34:19Kids here.
34:20I'll give some of these out.
34:21Okay.
34:22Take the pen.
34:23Take the pen.
34:24Thank you so much.
34:25Where's, where's Riley?
35:26No questions taken.
35:44No questions taken.
