00:06before the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games

00:10in Harbin, China this Friday.

00:17The official opening of the Asian Winter Games

00:19in Harbin, China will be held this Friday night.

00:24The athletes will be performing

00:27in a group of 20 at the Sabac Winter Sports.

00:34Although not all will be present at the opening ceremony,

00:37Philippine's Chef de Mission, Richard Lim,

00:40announced who will be the flagbearers for the Philippines.

00:44We have two flagbearers, one male and one female.

00:49The male is Gross Klos, and the female is Dubersteyn.

00:53Gross Klos is the speed skater.

00:56Dubersteyn is the incurling.

00:59Lim also added that Harbin, China will arrive this Friday

01:03with Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham Bambol Tolentino

01:07to accompany the delegates.

01:10First and foremost, President Bambol's first priority

01:13is the welfare of the athletes.

01:15President Bambol is checking the athletes' condition.

01:20Are they eating okay?

01:24Everything, right?

01:25Of course, the priority is the athletes.

01:26That's why we are all here.

01:28So, that's the priority.

01:31Lim also believes that it's not impossible

01:33for the Philippines to win a medal at the Winter Games.

01:37Of course, the Philippines is a tropical country

01:40and we don't have snow.

01:41So, that's already a challenge.

01:44But again, the players that are here

01:47are not here to gain experience.

01:50They're out here to win a medal.

01:52Lim also prays for the support of the Filipinos

01:56for the athletes in Harbin, China.

02:00We're calling out all our followers and sports enthusiasts

02:05to pray for our team, Philippines.

02:07And, you know, to pray for their safety

02:13and hoping to get the best results for everybody.
