00:09In the headlines, a cat in Davao City was shot. Was it saved from abuse?

00:21It's getting weaker, it's like it's clinging to the disease.

00:23This is the condition of the cat, Bluey, who was found dead in a veterinary hospital in Davao City.

00:28According to veterinarian Doc Ronald, the poor cat didn't move.

00:34It was shot.

00:35There's a 1.3mm bullet in his hand leg. The bullet went in here and went out there.

00:40Bluey immediately underwent a surgery.

00:42The surgery was successful. So we managed to remove the bullet from the hand leg. I think it's really, really infected.

00:49It's a good thing that the bullet didn't hit Bluey's heart. That's why he was saved from death.

00:54It took him 24 hours to recover. We make sure that Bluey is doing well. He's not in pain anymore because of the pain relief.

01:09Animal cruelty is a crime in our country.

01:14This is a violation of Republic Act 8485 or Animal Welfare Act of 1998.

01:34Meanwhile, according to Doc Ronald, Bluey's foremum was blotted out at Taloba Police Station
