00:39He is one of those who responded to the call of GMA Regional TV Stations

00:43to join the GMA Regional TV Bloodletting Day in different places in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

00:50In Luzon, it was done in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

00:53The good thing about this is that you can donate blood for other people.

00:57It is also good for your health because you can exchange your blood.

01:01In Visayas, there was a blood donation drive in Cebu City, Iloilo, and Bacolod City.

01:07There was also a blood donation drive in Davao City, General Santos City, and Cagayan de Oro.

01:13Uniformed personnel and civilians also donated.

01:17I think two or three persons can benefit from one blood.

01:21GMA Regional TV was a part of the Philippine Blood Cross on Bloodletting Day.

01:25So that we can maintain enough supply of blood in our blood bank at any time

01:32because we don't know when we will need blood.

01:35It is good for those who are in need, but at the same time,

01:38if this blood donation affects our health,

01:42it can also help reduce heart diseases and some cancers.

01:48Also, donating blood can burn up to 650 calories.
