00:00Vice President Sara Duterte's apocalyptic vision of the country falling into ruin as a result of her impeachment by the House

00:08drew a slew of mockery from House Solons who signed the impeachment form.

00:14She was roasted even more by her poor analogy of impeachment and being ditched by a lover as we hear more from our Mela Lismoras.

00:25God save the Philippines. Yes, we agree. God save the Philippines from Duterte, especially VP Sara Duterte.

00:34And VP Sara will suffer for saying God save the Philippines because in many occasions, she failed to save the Philippines.

00:43This was the response of ACT-BAYAN Partylist Representative Percy Sendanya to Vice President Sara Duterte's statement

00:50saying she hopes God will save the country after being impeached by the House of Representatives.

00:56According to Sendanya, instead of asking God for help, VP Sara should first explain the serious allegations against her.

01:03The lawmaker also had a remark regarding VP Sara's statement that losing a partner is more painful than impeachment.

01:10I want to say to VP Sara, this is not about a partner. This is about public accountability and responsibility.

01:18According to Sirigao Del Norte Second District Representative Robert Ace Barbers,

01:22their support for the impeachment of VP Duterte was well-founded and not influenced by any amount of aid or money.

01:29With 215 congressmen officially signing as complainants and 25 more seeking to join,

01:34Barbers underscored a clear and unmistakable message and collective will of the Filipino people.

01:40The political parties had a consultation. They were given a copy of this complaint.

01:50It was analyzed and other members agreed.

01:58There is no alternative here. The issue here is transparency, accountability, and rule of law.

02:08We need to have a judgment and justice.

02:15In an interview, House Speaker Martin Umaldes said they, who signed the impeachment complaint, leave it up to the Senate to decide when to begin the impeachment trial.

02:24Do you leave it up to the Senate to conduct the hearing?

02:28It's up to them. We leave it up to their sound discretion.

02:35Meanwhile, House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Sando Marcos had this to say on why he was the first to sign the impeachment complaint.

02:43Now as to why I was the first one to sign,

02:47if a person wants to insult your grandfather and throw his body in the West Philippine Sea,

02:55if he wants to kill the President and First Lady of my parents,

03:00and if he wants to kill the Speaker,

03:02why would anyone be surprised when I sign there?

03:06These are statements that can't be taken lightly, especially from someone with such a high position.

03:12I wonder why people are surprised.

03:17If you say you will insult my grandfather, of course I'll be the first one to sign.

03:24That should come as no surprise.

03:26That's why I was the first one to sign.
