00:07TikTok videos claiming to show hundreds of thousands of people marching for the AFD in Germany have been going viral online.
00:14German media outlet Correktiv revealed that many of the videos have been manipulated, as EuroVerify can confirm.
00:21We ran the videos, which were posted by pro-AFD accounts, through multiple AI image detectors.
00:27Although the images themselves do not appear to be AI-generated, their audio has been manipulated.
00:33Here, the chants East, East, East have been placed over the original audio.
00:42In Germany, the states of Thuringia and Saxony are AFD strongholds.
00:47Although other videos display pro-AFD captions, if you turn the audio up, you'll hear anti-AFD chants instead.
00:55In this video, you can also see pro-Palestinian and LGBTQ plus flags.
