When asked about former finance minister Lim Guan Eng's concerns over why the CEO of the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) was allowed to resume duties despite being on "garden leave" amid an ongoing Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigation, Human Resources Minister Steven Sim dismissed the call, questioning whether the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report had recommended any removals.

Speaking at the joint Chinese New Year open house on Sunday (Feb 9), Sim added that they are awaiting the outcome of the MACC investigation into the government-linked company (GLC).
