00:00Kanye's Super Bowl advertisement was absolutely embarrassing, embarrassingly genius.
00:15It's hard to admit when this man has actually done something smart for once, but critics
00:25are saying that Kanye absolutely played the Super Bowl advertisers for a fool and is a
00:30marketing genius for his recent extremely expensive advertising experiment.
00:42Kanye West paid millions of dollars for what is at first glance a completely embarrassing
00:47Super Bowl commercial.
00:49And amidst all of this man's controversy, he is now paid for his own ad spot in the
00:53Super Bowl, but this isn't a normal Super Bowl commercial.
00:57You know, like what every brand would typically do in terms of advertising during the Super
01:02Bowl.
01:03So while Verizon reportedly dropped 30 million dollars to feature Beyonce in their Super
01:08Bowl ad, Kanye West filmed his from the backseat of a car using his cell phone.
01:20What?
01:21In this dark, grainy, barely visible video, Kanye introduced himself, showed off his new
01:28teeth grill thingies, and although he seemed to struggle a bit while talking through his
01:33tooth bling as he was barely understandable, he confessed that he used up all of his budget
01:38for the commercial and left absolutely nothing for the actual production.
01:43I guess he's always been honest.
01:52Now considering that Super Bowl commercials typically cost about 7 million dollars for
01:56your 30 seconds of air time, Kanye thought that his attempt at raw brokenness would appeal
02:02to the masses.
02:04And it was also reported that his ad didn't air everywhere, which also hinted at a potential
02:09lower cost as well, as it wasn't seen in LA, but it was seen in Miami broadcast.
02:15Cheap or genius?
02:16Well, no matter what the cost was, he made sure to get his message across, as he basically
02:21just filmed a video of him talking into his front phone camera, saying, I want you to
02:27go to Yeezy.com, I'mma write that at the bottom of the screen.
02:30That was my Kanye impression, and it was pretty bad, but Kanye finished off his bizarre ad
02:35by saying, I got some shoes and uh, that's it.
02:42So I went to Yeezy.com so you don't have to, and here's what I found.
02:48Remember that see-through white tank top with the word wet written across it that Kanye's
02:53wife was wearing in public?
02:55Well that's being sold on Kanye's new website for a whopping 28 dollars?
03:02Hold on, is this Yeezy.com or Walmart.com?
03:05What is going on here?
03:06It's interesting to see that Kanye is in fact trying a new business strategy, as on his
03:11new website there are 12 clothing items all up for sale for 28 dollars a piece.
03:16And it's got me thinking, where did this man come up with his new pricing strategy?
03:20Why 28 dollars?
03:22What is going on here?
03:23Then I realized, this is Kanye West we're talking about.
03:26The same man who wore a black mask with a crucifix on his face to the 2024 Superbowl
03:32in an attempt to hide from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
03:35Therefore, no explanation needed.
03:38And on the website, on top of the super ugly tank top, there are some sock shoe things
03:43and other merchandise specifically related to Kanye's latest album.
03:47A fashion insider by the name of Maya Riaz believes that it's possible that Kanye is
03:52back on the road to taking over trendy fashion.
03:55Maya says, considering Kanye and Bianca's previous successes and undeniable influence,
04:01it is not out of the realm of possibility for them to make a significant impact on the
04:05fashion world.
04:06It is worth pointing out that the recent controversies surrounding Kanye have had mixed effects on
04:12his reputation within the fashion world.
04:14While some controversies have even sparked interest in conversation, others have led
04:19to backlash and potential brand damage.
04:22I agree with you Maya.
04:24But how about the fact that his sense of fashion is just flat out embarrassing and terrible?
04:30Sorry, I know that fashion is subjective, but there's a reason why you don't see a
04:33million people walking around the streets with black masks and a crucifix on their nose,
04:39right?
04:40What about wearing nothing with a clear raincoat?
04:42Listen, at the end of the day, only time will tell if this man's odd attempt at a Superbowl
04:47promotion will actually pull through and ultimately deliver timely and beneficial sales.
04:53But for the time being, Kanye remains in the hole for at least a few million dollars for
04:59this Superbowl ad.
05:00What are your thoughts on Kanye's recent attempts to bring back and revamp his influence
05:05in the fashion world?
05:06Because it was clear from the start that the reason why he's been exploiting his wife
05:10Bianca has something to do with reviving his media presence and PR, even if it's terribly
05:16negative.
05:17It only makes sense that the most watched live broadcast of the year always has something
05:22go wrong, and that's because it's live television, which makes it 100 times better.
05:27When something goes wrong at a Superbowl halftime show, the mistake can be larger than
05:32life.
05:33And from nip slips to injured crotches, here are the biggest Superbowl mistakes of all
05:38time.
05:39Come on, where else do you think we're gonna start?
05:42It's the most miraculously famous wardrobe malfunction ever, because we're taking it
05:47back about two decades on the dot to the most amazingly popular Superbowl blunder of all
05:54time.
05:55Ah, the ever popular wardrobe malfunction of the century, the best showing of Janet
06:01Jackson's career as a performer.
06:07If you've never heard of this blunder, then you're either too young to have access to
06:12the internet, or too old to have access to the internet.
06:17In one of the most highly anticipated halftime shows of all time, with Janet Jackson and
06:23Justin Timberlake, things couldn't have taken a more surprising turn.
06:28I felt like I had so much to prove to myself.
06:30See, the executives of the NFL, who put this whole shenanigan together, were probably giving
06:36themselves some nice high fives and big pats on the back for the ultimate success of this
06:42halftime performance until BAM.
06:45Within a split second, Justin Timberlake makes the call.
06:49It's an audible.
06:50He decides to run a play that definitely wasn't in his original book of plays.
06:55That play is, of course, the play which was to rip off a piece of Janet Jackson's top,
07:02unveiling a completely full frontal view of her breast.
07:07Yeah.
07:08Good going, Justin.
07:12See, I don't know who to blame here, because this move had to have been some part of the
07:21choreographed routine, no?
07:24I don't see why JT would have done such a thing otherwise.
07:27It seems a little bit out of the blue to just reach over to your dance or performing partner
07:32and just rip off their bra.
07:34I don't know.
07:35It seems like there must have been something else going on here that we didn't know about,
07:39because, come on, this is, what, 2004?
07:43And perhaps they needed the ratings to explode a little bit, and there are some conspiracy
07:47theories that perhaps this was, in fact, done by accident, which means on purpose, because
07:54of, you know, yeah.
07:57But by all means, the cameras were not prepared, and the performance got quickly cut and cue
08:02a little bit of a record scratch, because those same executives that were patting themselves
08:06on the back a couple minutes before ultimately slammed the big ban on these performers, because
08:12both Justin and Janet have been banned from performing at the Super Bowl ever again.
08:18And fun fact.
08:19This event and blunder actually spawned the birth of the video sharing platform that we
08:25all now know and love and call YouTube, since the creator of YouTube wanted a platform where
08:31people can watch clips such as this miraculous, I mean, not miraculous, just, yeah, kind of
08:38miraculous wardrobe malfunction after the event had already finished and the live coverage
08:43was done.
08:44So, bravo!
08:45Thank you, Janet's boobies, for YouTube.
08:48How about this?
08:49The NFL locked in a big performer as they scored big time for the Super Bowl in 2009,
08:55as they signed a contract with Bruce Springsteen, aka The Boss, to perform at the halftime show.
09:01Get this down, and turn your television all the way up.
09:07He was rocking the stage until that memorable moment in the song 10th Avenue Freeze Out
09:12when Bruce decided to go for a classic knee slide like a true rock star.
09:18But hold on a second, because he ended up going for a knee slide a little bit too fast
09:23and too far, and he slammed right into the cameraman's lens right in his crotch.
09:28Ow.
09:29Close up of the camera, and that's what Springsteen did, and it was great.
09:35It remains unconfirmed who was more hurt, whether it was Bruce or the cameraman, although
09:40it has been reported that the poor cameraman must have been traumatized both physically
09:44and psychologically.
09:46With a little bit of nuts to the camera, it's nothing better than a Sunday morning, am I
09:51right?
09:52And hey, coincidence or not, the teams in the Super Bowl only managed a field goal in
09:57the third quarter, because I think the crotch slide into the camera might have shaken up
10:04more than just the cameraman.
10:06Okay, it is the Super Bowl, so how about we talk about the game of football, and when
10:10the Seahawks inexplicably just threw away a Super Bowl title.
10:14Put it this way, a touchdown on this play, the final play of the game, would have won
10:19the Super Bowl for Seattle.
10:21And in the 2014 Super Bowl, Russell Wilson, the legendary Seahawks quarterback, threw
10:26a crazy 33-yard pass, bouncing off legs and fingertips and whatever notches, like a game
10:32of hot potato, and it got caught, miraculously.
10:36And with the ball just inches away from the end zone, inches away from a Super Bowl victory
10:41for the Seattle Seahawks, their coach, Pete Carroll, apparently forgot that he had this
10:46player who goes by the name of Marshawn Lynch, aka Beast Mode, one of the best running backs
10:52in NFL history, and called a passing play.
10:56What?
10:57Yeah, because the rest is history.
10:58The ball got intercepted, and the Seahawks lost the Super Bowl.
11:03Don't worry though, Seattle, because everything happens for a reason, right?
11:07You can keep telling yourselves that.
11:09What about we're back with the blackout?
11:12And in Super Bowl XLVII, I don't know my Roman numerals, I have no idea what number that
11:18could possibly be, the Baltimore Ravens were dominating the game until the third quarter
11:23got crushed by a stadium-wide blackout.
11:27Some say Queen B, that is Beyonce's killer halftime performance, drained all the power
11:32from the poor lights and caused this blackout, and in the most watched sporting event of
11:38the year that was interrupted by a blackout, it's just a reminder as to why you should
11:43be paying your electricity bill on time, people.
11:47And finally, one of my personal favorites, back to the halftime show.
11:51This time it's 2012, and the Queen Madonna herself and her co-performer, Mia, have taken
11:58the stage, where halfway through the live performance, Mia decides to flip the bird,
12:04and flip off the audience of around, what, 30 million viewers?
12:08What did the audience do to you, Mia?
12:10And as a result, Mia got sued by the NFL for $16 million, so I hope it was worth it.
12:18These Super Bowl commercials actually aired on TV.
12:22One ad that took it to the extreme was Carl's Jr.'s All Natural ad from 2015.
12:31Supermodel Charlotte McKinney walks through a farmer's market, but it turns out that
12:36she's wearing a bikini the whole time.
12:39The commercial frames her in a way that implies that she's not wearing anything at all,
12:44and it was just too much for the internet.
12:46People even started the hashtag, women are more than meat.
12:50Carl's Jr. is no stranger to controversial ads, but this one definitely took the cake.
12:55Volkswagen's 2013 Super Bowl ad had a white man from Minnesota speaking in a Jamaican
13:02accent.
13:03No worries, man.
13:04Everything will be alright.
13:06This ad faced a lot of criticism, and it was being compared to blackface with voices, and
13:12it was considered offensive by many people.
13:15Despite the controversy, Volkswagen aired the ad during the Super Bowl, and honestly,
13:21I'm Jamaican myself, and it's a big assumption to think that only black people live in Jamaica.
13:28The motto of Jamaica is literally, out of many, one people.
13:32So I definitely didn't get the outrage over this one.
13:35Ram Trucks got into a whole lot of hot water with their Super Bowl ad in 2018.
13:40They used Martin Luther King Jr.'s words from his drum major instinct speech, and this
13:46of course was to sell more trucks, which was seen by a lot of people as exploitation.
13:57Now the backlash spread all over the internet, also people who were familiar with the history
14:02of MLK Jr. began to point out that the actual speech itself contained many anti-capitalist
14:10and anti-consumerist points, including highlighting the shallowness of car commercials specifically.
14:17So in the end, it didn't really make sense to use that speech to sell trucks.
14:21It's crazy to think about how much the world has changed culturally and socially, especially
14:26when it comes to trans representation in the media.
14:30So check it out.
14:31Back in 1997, there was this Super Bowl holiday in commercial that was seen as straight up
14:37sexist and seen as objectification of a woman and comparing her plastic surgery to their
14:44hotel renovations.
14:55People called to complain, and they eventually pulled the ad off the air.
14:59But it wasn't like there was a huge viral outrage like there would be now, because social
15:05media wasn't a thing back then.
15:07But still, it's pretty wild to see how badly this commercial aged.
15:11Imagine if this aired on TV today.
15:14Boom.
15:15Advertisements, the best part of the Super Bowl.
15:23You know how it goes.
15:2480% of the Super Bowl viewers are watching just to see the commercials, and the other
15:2920% are watching just to see Taylor Swift.
15:37This year's Super Bowl commercials are breaking the internet.
15:40The Super Bowl is the one night where capitalism feels fun, with advertisements from the companies
15:46that we love the most.
15:48And these brands drop hundreds of millions of dollars just so you can see a 20 second
15:54clip that they hope you somewhat like.
15:56Here are the best and the worst ads of the 2024 Super Bowl.
16:02Uber Eats.
16:03Uber Eats is never shy when it comes to making advertisements that take full advantage of
16:08pop culture.
16:09This time around is no different.
16:11This delivery service giant has taken advantage of David Beckham and his wife Victoria, and
16:18they made a play on David Beckham's recent Netflix documentary.
16:22In this advertisement, which was filmed in a mockumentary style, David and Vic recreate
16:28the scene where Victoria claims that her family was very working class growing up,
16:34before David nudges her from the side and tells her to be honest about her dad's car,
16:39which was a Rolls Royce.
16:41Now in this Super Bowl ad, Victoria rocks a shirt proudly saying my dad had a Rolls
16:46Royce.
16:52And they banter about their little commercial, with David nudging her again from the side
16:57this time about it being a big commercial for the big Super Bowl.
17:08Now this ad is one of my favourites.
17:11It's Hellman's.
17:12Does a mayonnaise advertisement interest you?
17:15Well it should, because this hilarious advertisement took the most boring condiment and turned
17:21it into something crazy.
17:23In this ad, Kate McKinnon's cat starts speaking to her and recommending that she uses mayo
17:29on her sandwich.
17:35And all of a sudden the cat skyrockets to popularity never before seen by a cat.
17:46It even ends up dating and breaking up with Pete Davidson, which was a great jab at Pete's
17:51dating life, because it was nice of Hellman's to assume that he could land the speaking
17:56cat.
17:57Now how about we dive into one of the most profitable and newest industries, the betting
18:03industry.
18:04Bet.ngm had a kinda jokes advertisement, but my question is how does this betting company
18:09keep getting a hold of the most popular athletes in North America?
18:13Wayne Gretzky?
18:14Tom Brady?
18:15Who's next?
18:16Richard Jefferson?
18:17Anyways, how much do these online casinos really make?
18:20You really gotta wonder, it's almost like there might just be a gambling problem in
18:24North America.
18:25Now this ad took advantage of Vince Vaughn's deadpan comedy style as he tells everyone
18:30that they are, well, they're allowed and encouraged to gamble on Bet.ngm as long as they are Tom
18:37Brady.
18:43And what better way to promote your gambling company than with a Superbowl ad using the
18:47most legendary Superbowl winner of all time, Vince Vaughn.
18:56ELF Cosmetics is another advertisement that sorta took the internet by storm, because
19:02they went with the star approach, and the Suits cast, which is riding high on the show's
19:07popularity as the most streamed show in 2023, pulled off a reunion for ELF Cosmetics.
19:14Is that Elf?
19:19Like Will Ferrell?
19:20I don't get it.
19:21In this advertisement though, the cast, along with other celebrities, gets fake notices
19:26for something called Jury Beauty.
19:29Get it?
19:30Cause they work for a law firm, and jury, nevermind.
19:34That is, everyone was summoned from the cast, except for Meghan Markle.
19:38Yes, she is not included in this commercial, but don't worry Meghan.
19:43I hear that Hollywood has its own special plans for you.
19:47Michelob Ultra is the next ad, and this one, I don't really know, because speaking of
19:52athlete cameos, here comes Lionel Messi, the undisputed G-O-A-T.
19:57And in this ad, the beer company makes a play on Messi being the goat, and playing soccer
20:02against a dog in a goat vs dog showdown, as he dribbles a soccer ball around a dog on
20:08a beach.
20:09And sorry, who gave this ad the green light?
20:12I mean, this is the best thing that you could have come up with, with a hundred million
20:15dollars of budget, that's gonna be seen by the entire world, next.
20:19Here we go, Oreo.
20:22Because these guys are good at ads, right?
20:25Maybe.
20:26So why don't we throw Kris Jenner in there too, who untwists an Oreo, and now that will
20:31captivate the audience, right?
20:33Crickets.
20:34Boring.
20:35I am Boreoed.
20:37Because this was just genuinely terrible.
20:39I don't know if it's the unconvincing nature of Kris Jenner's recent acting and her personality
20:44here, or just the fact that these guys might need to come up with some new marketing material.
20:48We won, we won, we won, we won, we're number one.
20:52Number one.
20:53Security!
20:54Security!
20:55Does anyone recognize this Super Bowl fan in the all black mask, with the crucifix on
21:00his face?
21:01Who could it be?
21:02Security!
21:03Does anyone see security?
21:04Fans are scared of this unknown person.
21:06Oh, I see what's going on here.
21:08Your ex-wife Kim won't see you if you wear a black mask to hide your face, Kanye.
21:13Trust me, she'll have no idea that it's you, especially if you're the only person
21:18in the entire stadium wearing a fully black leather outfit with a black mask covering
21:23your face, but she might clue in once she sees that big white crucifix on the front
21:28of your face.
21:29I'm a legend.
21:30You understand that?
21:31I'm here.
21:32Hold on.
21:33This is the man that we were allowing to set fashion trends over the last decade?
21:36I could have just watched Sons of Anarchy if I wanted to see people dress like this.
21:40And wait, is Bianca forcing you to wear this stuff, Kanye?
21:43Blink three times if she's controlling you and you want out of this toxic relationship.
21:47Oh, wait, we can't see your eyes because the mask is covering the entirety of your
21:51face.
21:52Well, happy Super Bowl to you two.
21:54It's a constant cry for attention with the way that these two dress, although people
21:58are wondering why Bianca Sensori was actually wearing clothes in public.
22:03For once, the deranged couple attended the Super Bowl.
22:07And the simple answer is because she was smart enough to know that security wouldn't let
22:13her in if she wasn't wearing clothes.
22:15At the big game, Kim Kardashian was there as well with Khloe Kardashian and Kendall
22:20Jenner.
22:21Kim was actually spotted hanging out with her new boyfriend, Odell Beckham Jr., right
22:26before the Super Bowl started.
22:28Apparently, this really upset Kanye West, so much so that he made sure to hide in plain
22:33sight.
22:34People are convinced that Bianca was also super scared of running into Kim K.
22:39A body language expert named Judy James believes that Bianca was super nervous of running into
22:44the Kardashians.
22:45Judy suggested that Kim wasn't the only person that Bianca and Kanye were hoping to
22:50avoid.
22:51Judy claims that the crucifix face mask was an attempt by Kanye West to hide in plain
22:56sight as he was showing anxiety at the prospect of bumping into either his ex-wife Kim or
23:02her current man, Odell Beckham Jr., or even the queen of the Super Bowl, the woman who
23:07he has dissed in the past openly, Taylor Swift.
23:11And Kanye seems to have delegated all of that expressing of tension onto his current wife,
23:17Bianca.
23:18Judy added on, claiming that when a man takes his current wife to a gathering that includes
23:23his ex-wife and her new love interest, and then proceeds to render himself invisible,
23:29making his current wife's facial expressions visible, it's not the bravest move in the
23:35book.
23:36And to that, Judy, I raise a glass of non-existent champagne and wholeheartedly agree with you,
23:42as it comes off as an extremely cowardly move.
23:45Kanye seems to have given up any sense of care for his public perception, though.
23:50And Bianca clearly enjoys that he's given that up as well, because she is now absolutely
23:56willingly just strolling along beside him, letting him do all of his shenanigans, and
24:01really enjoying all the fame that's being brought upon her.
24:04And here comes my favorite part.
24:06It's you guys!
24:07The internet people!
24:08Because comments regarding Kanye and Bianca's Super Bowl showing are just flat-out entertaining
24:14to say the least.
24:15Here are some of my favorite comments that I've read so far.
24:18I would have refused him in the stadium with a mask, citing security concerns that a face
24:23must be shown at all times.
24:25That's the best he's ever looked in a long time.
24:28Time to enact Section 13 and lock him up for 72 hours in the Nuthouse.
24:32They should be banned from public places.
24:35And my personal favorite.
24:36I'm so happy Taylor is getting all the attention she deserves, and Kanye gets nothing but laughed
24:41at.
24:42Well, it seems like reasons like this are what make the Super Bowl the most globally
24:47watched televised event of the year, so the NFL openly thanks you, Mr. Kanye West.
24:54I feel like I'm going to get a lot of heat for this one, but I'm going to say it anyways.
24:58Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show performance wasn't that bad.
25:01I know it's the unpopular opinion because fans were definitely expecting a whole lot
25:06more from her, but she's pregnant, guys.
25:09And I feel like this was one of those damned if you do, damned if you don't situations
25:13because there were some rumors that Rihanna was actually going to be backing out from
25:17doing the Super Bowl halftime show, but she went through with it in the end.
25:21After revealing her pregnancy news during the halftime show at the Super Bowl 2023,
25:26she showed off her growing belly in a tight catsuit and leather breastplate.
25:31Now the designer of this, Jonathan Anderson, he even shared a cute snap on his Instagram
25:37story.
25:38I did have some speculation that Rihanna was pregnant during the halftime show, but I was
25:41like, is she really?
25:43Is she really?
25:44She was giving us all the clues, but it completely went over my head.
25:48Either way though, fans were really excited when they got their chance to get a first
25:52look at Rihanna's baby bump, and this was actually her first performance in seven years
25:56on the field at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
26:01Some other people who share my minority opinion on Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show performance
26:07took to Twitter and one Twitter user said this, Rihanna did that, a pregnant human singing
26:13and floating in the air, elite.
26:16And there was another Twitter user that even said this, nothing will be more iconic than
26:20pregnant Rihanna performing at the Super Bowl.
26:23So yeah, looks like Rihanna and her rapper partner A$AP Rocky are indeed expecting their
26:28second child.
26:29I'll admit though, that I was definitely expecting more from the performance, but it
26:34didn't make it a bad performance in my opinion.
26:37But like I said, I'll probably get a lot of heat for this because it's definitely
26:41the minority opinion.
26:43Hey guys, Usher's Super Bowl halftime show is being branded as a mess by fans.
26:52With a bunch of sound and tech issues, fans were underwhelmed and called the entire performance
26:57a mess.
26:58It was plagued with tech issues, including the music drowning out Usher's voice and
27:03his microphone causing unnecessary noises.
27:10Despite efforts to rectify the situation, many agree that the performance didn't improve
27:14until guest performer Alicia Keys joined him on stage.
27:21Now guys, please don't attack me personally for this as I thought it was great.
27:25I love Usher and I thought the tracks were an amazing throwback.
27:28Many others do not agree with me.
27:30One social media user grumbled, who the f was on soundcheck?
27:35Usher's mic is not it, come on now.
27:37Another added, girl this is a mess.
27:40The sound team f'ed up bad, Usher sweating his ass off doing nothing, Alicia singing
27:44off key.
27:45A third said, so f'ed up, CBS Super Bowl completely f'ed up the sound, this is such
27:51a great halftime show.
27:52Needed it to be loud af.
27:54Usher climbed on stage during the halftime performance belting out his greatest hits
27:58from his three decade career including, yeah, loving this club, caught up and more.
28:03Alicia Keys, Ludacris and Lil Jon joined him for an unforgettable show, but despite rumors
28:08that Justin Bieber would make an appearance, there was disappointment as he didn't show.
28:13Looking back on the preparation for the Super Bowl, Usher couldn't contain his excitement.
28:16He shared, I'm so ready for it to happen.
28:18I just want to sing louder than I've ever sang, dance harder than I've ever danced.
28:22I want to celebrate the 30 years of this career where I'm very fortunate to have made songs
28:27and moments with people that will remember forever.
28:29Added to that, fans were angry Justin Bieber didn't appear with the star to perform after
28:34many hints that he would join his pal on stage.
28:37Imagine getting angry about something like this though.
28:39So many things in the world to be angry about, and this is what people are losing sleep over.
28:43That the performance didn't go exactly as they planned.
28:46One person wrote, Justin Bieber didn't join Usher on the Super Bowl stage.
28:50I need a cigarette.
28:51Another person wrote, everyone on Twitter when they finally realized that Usher isn't
28:55going to bring out Justin Bieber during the Super Bowl halftime show with a meme that
28:59said, I've had enough of this dude.
29:01Fans are also sharing pictures and calling themselves clowns after believing that the
29:05pop star was going to join Usher on stage.
29:07The duo has collaborated on many chart topping hits at the start of Justin's career including
29:12Somebody to Love, Peaches, and First Dance.
29:15Usher was Justin's mentor during the beginning of Justin's career and guided him in the industry.
29:20Before the performance, Usher said to his fans, don't take moments for granted because
29:24you only get 13 of them.
29:26Referring to the usually allotted 13 minute run time.
29:29The hardest part is trying to figure out how to squeeze it all in when you can actually
29:32have a large catalog or a lot of records people celebrate and love.
29:36He sure squeezed in a lot.
29:37Unfortunately, people didn't appreciate it.
29:40I'll end this off by quoting critically acclaimed actor and celebrity insider Pepe Weintraub
29:45who said, Production value was not at a Super Bowl level.
29:49It made me want to scream.
29:51I have nothing else to say.
