00:21Imperial is a sci-fi fantasy action RPG
00:24I call it sci-fi fantasy because the setting is sci-fi
00:27but I think the mood and feel is more fantasy
00:29If you are a mercenary and you've come to this unexplored planet
00:32there is this huge monolith in the center
00:35and there's been an expedition that's already tried to figure out what's going on
00:38but they have so far not got very far with it
00:41They've been trying to explore this monolith
00:43that's been built by a lost ancient civilization
00:46and it becomes clear that this civilization
00:48has made discoveries that are unknown to the modern world
00:51Players can choose a weapon at the start of the game
00:53but they're not locked into that
00:55they can change once they pick up a new weapon
00:57You can experiment with different play styles
00:59You can also customize your character
01:01so you can make it however you want
01:02There's lots of customization options
01:04and I think there's a lot of variety there for players to explore
01:09And then beyond just the visual customization
01:11of your actual physical appearance
01:14you can customize it with armor sets
01:16and we have dozens of different visual assets for those as well
01:19and then you can customize it with your play style
01:21We have, I think, about 50 different abilities
01:23hundreds of stats in the game
01:25I would say, in summary, it's a true RPG
01:27It's meant to be explored to that level of depth
01:35The combat revolves around three different weapon archetypes
01:38So we have a glaive, cannon, mace and shield
01:41and they all play very differently
01:42Just by equipping the weapon you'll get different moves
01:45and you'll get a completely different feel
01:46Once you've chosen your weapon archetype
01:48you'll want to be selecting your abilities as well
01:50So you have several choices of abilities to make
01:53Some are specific to the weapons and some are shared
01:55And then you have ultimate abilities
01:57which require energy to build up
01:58and we have sort of a camera cut
01:59so you get this spectacular explosive kind of aspect of the combat as well
02:04There are thousands and thousands of possibilities for creating your build
02:08You could create something basically entirely unique
02:10You can only change your loadout
02:12when you're in sort of the safe central hub zone area of the game
02:15but if you find that, for whatever reason
02:18a particular level doesn't seem to fit with the build that you've made
02:21then you can change that and try again
02:24So in terms of stuff that players haven't seen
02:26there is a lot because we've only put out a couple of trailers
02:29so there's tons and tons of content
02:31Particularly for a small studio
02:33we've created a game that's very, very ambitious
02:35The challenge is making all those elements come together
02:38in one big satisfying game that's going to reward curiosity
02:42I think we've conquered that to be honest
