00:12His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister
00:16of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, has ordered the setting up of a higher committee for the
00:20implementation of the Dubai Smart City project. The committee, to be chaired by Mohammed bin
00:25Abdullah Al-Gergawi, head of Sheikh Mohammed's executive office, will include nine others
00:30representing the public and private sector.
00:33Singer Rihanna was asked to leave after taking photos at Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Grand
00:37Mosque at the weekend, mosque authorities said in a statement.
00:41The singer left before entering the mosque after being asked to do so because of taking
00:45some pictures that do not comply with the values, etiquettes and conditions laid down
00:49by the management of the center, said the statement.
00:53It added that the mosque welcomes all visitors as long as they follow mosque etiquette.
00:57The Barbadian singer was in Abu Dhabi to perform a concert on Yas Island.
01:02The photographs with Rihanna posted on her Instagram account drew criticism on social
01:07media, though some did not find them offensive. While many condemned her for posing at a place
01:12of worship, others commented that she was raising the profile of the UAE.
