00:00Dubai is a melting pot of nationalities, which is why, when looking down the streets, you'll
00:03find shops catering to every community. We take a tour of some of these shops and see
00:08what they have to offer.
00:09For the Filipino community in Dubai, Philippine Supermarket is where you can go to get your
00:14pancit noodles, tilapia or calamansi juice, among other local specialties.
00:18Filipinos, they have their own product, fish. They are very, very much interested in that.
00:25Like bangus, and they call it in other languages, they say milk fish. They really like their
00:32own product, which is century tuna or blue bay tuna. It's very famous. We have both of
00:36them.
00:37The supermarket also serves takeaway sago and halo-halo drinks, some of their fastest
00:42selling products.
00:45Green Tree Supermarket, which has been open since 1986, is a one-stop shop for the Egyptian
00:50and Sudanese community in the UAE.
00:53We get our products from Abu Dhabi, Ain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and other places, because
00:59our products are not available abroad.
