00:00Hi, this is Love All and I'm Sanjeev Kapoor. Hi Andy. Welcome to this lovely place in Dubai,
00:15Beach Canteen.
00:16Scottish tennis player Andy Murray showcased some of his kitchen skills as a shell and
00:20open runner-up and Wimbledon champion had an unusual culinary experience ahead of the
00:25Dubai GT Free Tennis Championships.
00:27Murray, seated in this Dubai's premier tennis tournament, visited the Dubai Food Festival
00:31to join a celebrity chef in preparing a special curry dish. The festival attracts food lovers
00:37from all over the world and features an array of events and culinary attractions across
00:41the city.
00:42Murray headed to a lively food hotspot set on the golden sands of Kite Beach in Jumeirah
00:47where he met world-renowned Indian celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor who was ready to help
00:51him create a very special dish, which they dubbed the Murray Curry.
00:56Murray told Tabloid that travelling around the world in different tournaments has made
01:00more adventurers with his taste buds.
01:02It's one of the nice things about travelling everywhere is that we get to try different
01:07foods and go to a lot of nice restaurants around the world and most of the big cities
01:11they have, you know, good places to eat.
01:13Chef Kapoor says Murray has good potential to be a cook.
01:17Food is something which brings people together. It was fun working with him, teaching him,
01:22teaching him the nuances. And he did very well because he could handle such big pots
01:28and pans. These are not the pans that we use at home. This can be intimidating. But he
01:33did really, really well. I think that's what creates winners when you have people who will
01:40try out anything, which means they are bold, people who can take these kind of decisions
01:46that they would want to give it a go to virtually anything. They may be completely clueless of
01:52this kind of a thing, but yeah, he did very well.
01:55After their fun and exciting cooking session, fans lined up to get a taste of the Murray
02:00curry specially prepared by Murray himself.
02:03Irish Edith Belyaza for Tabloid.
