00:05The suspect gave a statement.

00:07We have the first news, James Agustin.

00:12This 29-year-old man was arrested after he fired a gun at Barangay Tonsuya in Malabon City.

00:19According to the police, they happened to pass by the place where the incident happened.

00:23While conducting patrolling, sir, the complainant approached us.

00:27The complainant said that someone threatened him.

00:30He was being targeted by a gun.

00:32We immediately responded to the area.

00:36There, we found out that he was holding a gun.

00:41That's why we immediately arrested him.

00:44A gun was retrieved from the suspect.

00:46It was loaded with 7 bullets.

00:48The suspect did not show any evidence.

00:50Upon verification, sir, the gun was not licensed.

00:54The suspect also did not have a holder license.

00:58We will submit the gun to the NPD Forensic Unit for ballistic examination

01:07to find out if it was used in other crimes, sir.

01:11The suspect was arrested in 2013 and charged with murder.

01:15He was released last June.

01:18He was asked about his arrest.

01:20My lawyer is the only one who can talk to me.

01:28The suspect is facing grave threats and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act
