00:08A massive fire swept through a temple in southern India early this morning, killing more than
00:13100 people after thousands gathered to watch an illegal fireworks display. More than 350
00:18others were injured in the fire that engulfed the temple complex in Kollam in Kerala, where
00:23crowds had built up during the night for a festival. A team of specialist doctors and
00:28medicines were being deployed from New Delhi to help with the disaster amid reports of
00:32horrific burns suffered by survivors.
00:35Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Saudi King Salman Abdel Aziz have agreed to
00:40set up a $16 billion investment fund. The two leaders also settled a long-standing maritime
00:45dispute on Saturday, as the king continued his rare visit to Egypt. In one of the most
00:50high-profile announcements, Cairo said it had agreed to demarcate its maritime borders
00:55with Saudi Arabia.
00:57Ahmad Properties have announced plans to launch The Tower, the world's tallest observation
01:02deck and Dubai's new monument in the making. Located at the Dubai Creek Harbour, The Tower
01:07will share the neighbourhood with the city's new mega-retail district.
