00:00Venezuela's military is hunting a group of mercenaries who made off with weapons after
00:13an attack on an army base carried out against what they call the murderous tyranny of President
00:19Nicolás Maduro.
00:21Around 20 men led by an army officer, who had deserted, battled troops in the base in
00:25the third city of Valencia for three hours early on Sunday.
00:29The raid ended with two of the attackers being killed and eight captured, Maduro said
00:34on state television.
00:35The other 10 escaped with weapons taken from the facility, according to officials who said
00:40an intense search is underway for them.
00:42Former war crimes prosecutor Carla Del Ponte says she is resigning from the UN's Independent
00:47Commission of Inquiry on Syria, decrying Security Council inaction to hold criminals accountable
00:53in the war-battered country where everyone is bad.
00:57In comments published on Sunday by the Swiss magazine Blick, Del Ponte expressed frustration
01:01about the commission and criticised President Bashar Assad's government, the Syrian opposition
01:07and the international community overall.
01:09Chris Pratt and Anna Fares have announced they are separating after eight years of marriage.
01:13The actors announced their break-up on social media in a joint statement confirmed by Pratt's
