Jaw-dropping scenes show eruption and lava flow from Mount Etna.
The drone footage shows activity at the volcano in Sicily on Tuesday (11 Feb).
The region has seen ongoing seismic activity, with several earthquakes, with magnitudes up to 3.7, detected in the summit area, likely linked to internal magma movements.
Emilio Messina, who captured the footage, says: "Etna volcano here in Sicily (Italy) has started a new volcanic activity few days ago with an incredible lava flow.
"The flow dropped from an altitude of 3,000 metres to an altitude of 1,900. Fortunately there is still no danger for the surrounding towns. But the flow is well powered as you can see."
