Congress passes 75% of Marcos priority measures   Presidential Adviser on Legislative Affairs Mark Llandro Mendoza says Congress' performance was 'very good' as it passed 'around 70 to 75 percent' of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s priority measures. Mendoza, who also heads the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office, said on Feb. 12, 2025 that all of the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) and Common Legislative Agenda (CLA) measures, the high-impact bills, were  approved. 00:07All of the LATAC and CLA, Common Leadership Agenda,

00:12we passed a lot of high-impact bills.

00:17But what about the bills that doesn't seem to pass yet,

00:22the ones that were enacted or passed?

00:25Actually, there are just a few.

00:27There's the land use, the single-use plastic.

00:33We also have other bills that I hope will pass.

01:18It's more on the local bills that normally pass there.

01:28I don't expect that there will be a LATAC measure there

01:35because a lot of them have already passed.

01:39They're just refiling the pending ones.

01:42So, how can you say that there will be a fresh line-up of congressmen

01:48and a new term in the legislative agenda?

01:51Well, actually, so far, in fairness,

01:56in the 19th Congress, the majority-minority cooperated.

02:02It was a good setup.

02:06So, they listened to the inputs of the minority.

02:12But they also gave.

02:15They just gave.

02:17So far, it's good.

02:19It's good that this happened.

02:21It's very good.

02:23Very good.

02:24Because the relationship between the two parties was good.
