00:00How did you see last night's draw with Tamworth, first of all? Were points dropped and
00:05you know, how do you see the kind of playoff picture at the minute?
00:08Yeah, I think definitely two points dropped. Rich, I think fans will certainly have been
00:14looking at the three home games within seven days as a chance to really launch their assault
00:20on the playoff places. I think to do that, Pools probably need at least seven points. I think going
00:24into the three matches, you probably would have said that this week's games against Tamworth,
00:31who were 15th, nine points clear of the relegation zone, and Maidenhead, who were really
00:35scrapping for their lives, are the two that you would have liked to take maximum points from,
00:39altering them the following week, obviously direct rivals for the playoff places. There
00:43was little to separate the two teams when they played in the reverse fixture. So you might have
00:47been anticipating that game as the one where you were thinking you might just get a point from
00:54this one. Although, as Anthony Lemberick pointed out to us last night, most fans probably wouldn't
01:00have expected Pools to win at Sutton. So if you'd said to them prior to those two games,
01:05you'd get four points. I think every fan would have taken it, just as perhaps the way round that
01:10it happened, which was a bit surprising. And obviously having won on Saturday, it felt like
01:17a little bit of a missed opportunity on Tuesday night not to go and back that up with a win.
01:24That said, the performance was generally really good. Pools created more than enough chances to
01:29have won the game. And I think a lot of fans were generally pleased with the positive,
01:34proactive and purposeful approach. Lemberick made some good attacking substitutions, as he did
01:41on Saturday, to great effect. And I think that was maybe a slight frustration among supporters
01:47during the reign of Lenny Lawrence, who was generally a little bit reluctant to be too
01:51proactive in terms of his substitutions.
