00:00You don't that often get two left-footers playing in the same backline, certainly not in a central
00:06role. Ferguson obviously can play as a wing-back, and given how impressive Cleary has been,
00:11you would suggest that if Cleary remains at Pools, he's going to stay in that position.
00:18Parks obviously missed Saturday's game with a slight knee complaint. I don't think there
00:21were many people that were hugely surprised to see him back in the side. He's featured in pretty
00:26much all of his team's National League games this season, and has certainly been the most
00:31consistent and reliable defender. Obviously dominant in the air, really good experience,
00:38powerful, relishes that physical challenge that a lot of the National League No. 9s
00:43pose. So not a massive surprise to see him return to the side. Nonetheless, I think fans were a
00:48little bit surprised to see David Ferguson miss out. He had one of his better games on
00:55Saturday, perhaps won't have been best pleased with his involvement in Sutton's opening goal,
01:00made a bit of a mess of his initial clearance, and then was subsequently out of position as Sutton
01:05took a quick throw and Dylan De Silva picked out goals for Will Davies. But his delivery was
01:12certainly the best it's been all season, and I think Pools missed that on Tuesday night. They
01:17didn't have quite the same threat from set pieces. Ferguson's late corner led to the winning goal
01:23on Saturday, and I imagine he was a little bit frustrated to have been left out.
