00:00Tonight, the Manila Overseas Press Club Grand Journalism Awards will be held in Makati City

00:18Joshua, you're right. Tonight, we will honor the well-known and outstanding personalities in the media industry
00:27here in the country in the upcoming MOPC Grand Journalism Awards here in Makati.
00:37The Manila Overseas Press Club is considered the most prestigious and longest-running existing press club in the country
00:44led by presidents and other officials of several media networks.
00:48Some of the recipients of the award are the CEO of IBC 13,
00:53Atty. Jimmy Policarpio, as the Media Turnaround Story of the Year,
00:58Mark Logan, and other well-known figures in the field of journalism.
01:03We will also honor our most beloved Presidential Communications Office Secretary,
01:08Hon. Cesar Chavez, as the Distinguished Service in Media and Government Award.
01:14As the President of the PCO, we expect that the message of our Secretary Chavez
01:21is the widespread support of the government to all media practitioners in freedom of expression,
01:28especially when it comes to the issues that will be discussed in the future.
01:33Since 1945, the MOPC has been a strong organization that promotes free speech and press freedom here in our country.
01:42Now, we are slowly seeing the awards coming to the venue of the awarding ceremony tonight at the MOPC Grand Journalism Awards.
01:55Later, we will also find out what will be the content of the message of our beloved Secretary Chavez.
