Did you know that in Iron Man 2?, Tony Stark is seen drinking a black beverage throughout the film? In one scene, when he’s arguing with Pepper, Tony mentions that he’s drinking it. The reason is that he’s suffering from palladium poisoning, caused by the use of this element in the Arc reactor. To counter the effects of the poisoning, he turns to liquid chlorophyll, a substance used in body detox therapies and in the treatment of excess iron or severe metal poisoning. Making him literally Iron Man as he drinks liquid oil.
