Dubai forms teams of UAE nationals to lead transformation of public parks

00:00The initiatives of redesigning or designing the public spaces and the neighborhood parks,

00:10it's a collaboration initiatives done by Dubai Mospality and the Creative Front Dubai.

00:15And we initiate the creative community, especially from the youth that was already freshly graduated,

00:22to be part of designing their own parks.

00:26As an initiative comes out from Dubai Urban Planning 2040, the initiative was honored

00:32and from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Barash Al Maktoum.

00:35We are targeting to look and to see Dubai, and we are sure that we are going to reach

00:39that one, that Dubai is the best place of living.

00:43To have that direction, for sure we need to design things for people.

00:48So the human centric is our target to be.

00:51So this initiative is targeting that the parks for people, designed by people.

00:56Give the youth the opportunity to showcase their talents.

00:59Brand Dubai and all the initiatives and projects involves the creative community and the youth

01:05and the projects.

01:06We have 30 participants in this initiative.

01:09We have 10 architects, 10 interior designers, and 10 event planners.

01:14They work together on 10 parks, and they work on the design and how to activate the parks.

01:21The 30 talents will be working on this initiative for two months.

01:24As a designer, my main goal and part of my philosophy is to offer for people a good and

01:30healthy and more ethical spaces that let them to feel comfortable.

01:35And I think this experience will give me opportunity to implement my goals.

01:39Dubai municipality and Dubai give me the opportunity to make a better community for the society

01:47and have better parks.

01:49And as I am an active person, I would like to see Dubai parks more successful and we

01:54are hoping to make them better here.
