00:00Photography is purely a passion to me and I take it as a hobby.
00:05I'm a nature and the wildlife photographer and I love it.
00:12I started right from my school age and of course in the wildlife at the age of 12.
00:22I started closer to my home. It's 100 km from home which is the park is called Ranganathittu.
00:35It's actually a bird sanctuary and those days we didn't have all the luxury of digital cameras.
00:43I started with a film camera and now with the technology it has come actually like really so luxurious way of shooting or comfortable way of shooting.
00:56The recent picture which won an award that's very touching just because if you see I named it World is Going Upside Down.
01:06I'm happy about the award as well as I was able to convey a message to the people just the world is going upside down.
01:18Just because if you see the picture it's a orangutan just climbing up the tree and the title says actually the world is going upside down.
01:27The reason why I named World is Going Upside Down is actually the population of the orangutan is just decreasing every year and that's only because of the human greed.
01:41They cut down all the jungle and the reason why they cut down all the jungle is actually for the palm oil plantation.
01:51See for we human we have actually many choice for the oil just not the palm oil but for the orangutan they just lose their home and eventually actually everything there is just deserted.
02:06And also like if palm oil is needed they need not actually cut down the jungle.
02:11The reason why they cut down the jungle is actually already fertile they don't have to do much.
02:15They could actually do it in other places and not to actually destroy the jungle around the world.
02:24And this award was so good just because millions of people have seen it and it is just bringing out to the public come on actually there is something wrong going on.
02:36So these are some of my crazy or risky trip while I was shooting this one I was in the water till my neck and the same river has got 15 feet long crocodiles.
02:52So I have to definitely go into the river to that level to get this picture.
02:59So these are few of my favorite pictures.
03:02For this one like this is called a split image where it shows what is below the water and above the water.
03:10Like usually when you see a penguin standing on a ice we just only see the ice or actually like which is above the water.
03:19But here I wanted to show what is below the water also to combine it and I had to use a dome where it takes both below and above the water.
03:32And I was in the water there and Antarctica of course everyone knows it is crazy cold there and I made it.
03:49So this is a picture of a penguin standing on the ice.
