00:00It seems that China Coast Guard ships are getting closer and closer to the Philippines.

00:04Yesterday, they saw their three ships near El Nido, Palawan.

00:09We have the first news, Jonathan Andal.

00:15The three ships of China Coast Guard are this close to El Nido, Palawan.

00:19Only 35 nautical miles or 65 kilometers.

00:23Based on the estimate and monitoring of maritime security expert and former U.S. senior defense official, Ray Powell.

00:47Just last week, another Chinese research vessel was also spotted in Palawan.

00:52But according to the Philippine Navy, according to the protocol, the ship was only avoided in bad weather.

00:58The ships of China Coast Guard in Palawan came from Scarborough Shoal and went down to El Nido, but left there immediately.

01:35One of them was pushed by the Philippine Coast Guard away from Zambales.

01:42But it is still inside the EEZ or Exclusive Economic Zone of the Philippines.

02:15But according to maritime law expert Atty. J. Batong Bacal,

02:18the Philippines needs to convince other countries to take action against the United Nations.

02:24The UN did not take much action because first of all, there are over 160 member countries.

02:30And secondly, many of them were influenced by China.

02:35Their approach to the Coast Guard VSL is a threat.

02:39All of this means that they are showing that they are really stealing the sea,

02:45and they really want to sink it.

02:48Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio personally talked

02:54about how to strengthen the alliance of the Philippines and America

02:58to support Rubio's so-called destabilizing actions of China in the South China Sea.

03:03The Armed Forces of the Philippines, according to the Southern Theater Command of China,

03:08has already launched a joint patrol with the United States and Canada in the West Philippine Sea.

03:16The AFP said that it is not the Philippines that is entering.
