00:00I didn't know whether or not I was going to be in the field until Sunday morning when
00:08I woke up, booked a flight, booked a hotel and flew out later that night and arrived
00:15Monday night.
00:16It wasn't the preparation you would call ideal necessarily, but at the same time I was playing
00:21a lot of golf in the weeks leading up to it, I was playing really well.
00:25So then the preparation while I was there was more just kind of getting the body right,
00:29I was coming with an eight, nine hour time difference, something like that.
00:33So working with that, getting the body ready and then just kind of hanging in there as
00:37the week progressed.
00:38I remember vividly how stressful it was, finishing second was a great accomplishment, but at
00:45the same time it doesn't change the year as much as a win does in terms of category and
00:50all that.
00:51So it's huge, especially after the last couple of years that were slow, that I was struggling
00:54a little bit.
00:55I mean, getting a win is always big.
00:58For me, it was the best tournament of the year so far.
01:03It kind of reframed the, not necessarily the whole goal for the year, because obviously
01:08that's what we're coming out for, but it kind of puts you on a fast track to achieve those
01:13goals and then you kind of want to keep going and work even harder and you want it even more.
01:20I've been here, I think last time was like 12 years ago, we would come in and spend the
01:24winters here with the German national team.
01:27I don't really remember too much other than the Aioli is fantastic and standing here,
01:32the view is obviously phenomenal.
01:36I like where I'm at on the points list, so it's not as much stress as going in a different
01:41position.
01:42So I'm really just looking forward to enjoying the week and having my family, everyone here
01:46is going to be phenomenal, so I look forward to it.
