00:00I like the guy a lot, Stanton, but, I mean, what are we here, like five days into it,
00:08the guy's already cripple?
00:11What is happening here?
00:13Well, look, we know how to deal with Stanton by now.
00:18He gets hurt a lot.
00:19I need him in October.
00:21He's so good in October that, like, you don't want to give him too much business, but, like,
00:27here's what bothers me about this one.
00:29Like, apparently this has bothered him.
00:31This was bothering him last year in a regular season, and he played through it, and what's
00:37he been doing for three and a half months, four months, like, since the season ended?
00:41Like, we couldn't get some, something done to fix the elbows up a little bit?
00:47And now we show up, and it's, here's Boone talking about it yesterday when Giancarlo
00:53showed up to camp.
00:55Your position players report?
00:57Yes.
00:58And anybody come in with any off-season injuries or anything like that?
01:03Yeah, so Giancarlo's a little behind, just dealing with some elbow stuff that he dealt
01:09with last year.
01:10Actually, both elbows, kind of really akin to tennis elbow, and just that he maintained
01:15and kind of played through, especially the second half of the year.
01:20So we're, we want to make sure that, give it that as much time.
01:24So we'll kind of probably slow play him a little bit.
01:27There goes the spring.
01:28He's not playing in the spring.
01:29He's not playing at all.
01:31He's not playing at all.
01:34And then he talked today, he said, I haven't swung a bat in weeks because of it.
01:38He said weeks he hasn't swung a bat, it hurts him so much.
01:41So that's not a promising start to the Yankee camp for one of their guys that they're going
01:48to be counting on to do big things.
01:51We could use a little bit more out of him, that's for sure.
