00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark, I'm Prameet and news has come that Aprilia has launched
00:08the all new Tuono 457 in the Indian market.
00:12Now this naked motorcycle carries a price tag of rupees 3.95 lakh ex-showroom and this
00:18is technically the naked version of the RS 457 that is already present in the Indian
00:24market.
00:25But obviously this motorcycle comes with few changes.
00:28So let's quickly start this video and I'll tell you what all remains same in this motorcycle
00:32and what all new changes have you got in the all new Tuono 457.
00:37So now let's see what all remains the same.
00:40So you get the similar engine that is the 450cc parallel twin engine that produces 47.6
00:45bhp, 43.5 Nm of peak torque that comes mated to a six speed transmission, it gets a slipper
00:51clutch and an optional quick shifter.
00:54So these things in the Tuono 457 remain the same just as the RS 457.
00:59Also as far as the tires are concerned, the front tire is 110 section, the rear tire is
01:04150 section and obviously the seat height also remains the same at 800 mm.
01:09But the motorcycle looks really aggressive and it looks absolutely fantastic in this
01:13naked avatar.
01:15A few changes that have been done is now the Tuono 457 gets a headlamp cluster that is
01:20not connected to the bikini fairing like earlier.
01:23It is a separate part from the bikini fairing.
01:26So it looks much more aggressive.
01:28You get LED headlamps, DRLs, indicators, tail light, everything is an LED.
01:33You also get two color options with this motorcycle and you get a full digital five inch cluster
01:40that has Bluetooth connectivity and that also remains the same as we see on the RS 457.
01:45Now if you talk about the tank, the tank is a 12.7 litre capacity where the tank on
01:51the RS 457 was a 30 litre while the difference is almost very minute, is almost 300 ml.
01:58And the cluster that you see over here, it also gets some riding modes, as you know,
02:02eco, sport and rain.
02:04So three riding modes and a 450 cc parallel to an engine producing 47.6 bhp, 43.5 Nm of
02:11peak torque.
02:12Now, another change that we see on the 20457 is the handlebar.
02:16Now the handlebar is more raised and it's flat, it's upright, giving the rider a much
02:21more upright position.
02:22Now in the RS 457, you had an aggressive stance to the motorcycle.
02:26So you are, I mean, in your daily city commute, you might have a slight back issue.
02:31But this motorcycle, however, the footpegs remain the same where it was.
02:34The handlebar has risen and become much more flat and little more wider.
02:38So it gives you a very relaxed driving and an upright driving stance.
02:43So the 390 Duke now gets a competition that is the 20457.
02:48And as I mentioned earlier, also that this motorcycle is launched at a price of Rs 3.95
02:52lakhs.
02:53If you talk about the suspension, the 20457 gets 41 mm upside down front forks with 120
02:59mm of travel, and it also gets an adjustable mono shock.
03:04Now the 20457 gets a new final drive.
03:07What that means is now there is an extra teeth in this pocket that results in better
03:12initial pickup, but a slightly low and top speed compared to the RS 457.
03:17Well, that is really good because this is a naked motorcycle and going absolutely bonkers
03:22on this will not make any sense because you will have a lot of wind blast.
03:26So yeah, these are a few changes on the 20457 than the RS 457.
03:32Once again, let me tell you the price of the Aprilia 20457.
03:35It's launched at a price of Rs 3.95 lakhs ex showroom.
