00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the fourth campaign rally of the administration-backed senatorial slate under Alianza para sa Bago Pilipinas in Pasay City earlier today to gain the support of Metro Manila residents for the 2025 midterm elections.

00:20Thousands of Filipinos flocked to the Coneta Astrodome in Pasay City to witness the fourth campaign rally of the administration-backed Alianza para sa Bago Pilipinas.
00:31Apart from the speeches delivered by the 12 administration candidates for the senatorial race, several well-known artists also performed during the program, much to the delight of the audience.
00:41According to the Alianza candidates, they are confident that they will gain the support of Metro Manila residents in the Hato ng Bayan 2025.
00:49They emphasized that all of them have extensive experience, have accomplished much, and will continue to do more for the nation.
00:56The Alianza is a really good complement.
00:58Some are from the executive, some are from the legislative, and they all have their own experiences that have somehow contributed to Metro Manila.
01:09We are confident in the group of Alianza that we will be able to 2-0 Metro Manila.
01:16Also stated, they do not support negative campaigning or the promotion of any form of violence.
01:21This was in response to the statement made by former President Rodrigo Duterte, who suggested some senators should just be killed to create vacant positions in the Senate, although some said it was only a joke.
01:32I hope, my request is, let's just help each other to de-escalate instead of escalating.
01:39When we talk about issues, it's better we stick to the issues.
01:43Once you start attacking personally, personal attacks on anyone, you have lost the debate.
01:52Meanwhile, for the first time, House Deputy Majority Leader Erwin Tulfo addressed the disqualification case filed against him and his relatives before the Commission on Elections over the issue of political dynasty.
02:04The opinion of the Supreme Court is that there is no enabling law.
02:13The so-called law should have a law.
02:18Unfortunately, the Congress and the Senate are not moving yet.
02:22That is what is being said there.

02:30Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino also issued a statement regarding the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte now that it has been elevated to the Supreme Court.
