00:00Yeah, we didn't really know what to expect. We were confident enough that we had good support,
00:05but there's a lot of things against the bull sales, I guess, at the moment. We don't want
00:11to harp on the season, but we all know what it feels like. It's cost us a lot of money and all
00:16our clients a lot of money to get through the last 12 to 18 months, and they really
00:22got behind us today, and it was fantastic.
00:45Ben, what did you think of today?
00:47Samantha, myself, and our family are thrilled with the result today. We had tremendous support
00:53from long-term clients. A number that were here today have purchased in all 18 sales,
00:58along with some very good new clients and people that probably aren't in the market every year.
01:04We're here in strength and showed a lot of support.
01:07And we're here with the new trend stud stock team, Manager Gordon Wood and Auctioneer Richie
01:12Miller. Wow, we've now got a new highest average for Angus Week. What did you think of the bulls
01:19today?
01:21Look, I thought the bulls today were an absolute credit to Ben and Samantha and the family. You
01:26could have bought them consistently from one through to lot 51. In terms of type,
01:31there was a number of people here today that were putting some volume together, four to six bulls,
01:35and they were able to shop from lot one right the way through, which I think is an absolute
01:41credit to the Glatz family for the way they turned them out.
01:44It's been a pretty tough year here in this area, and they were affected as badly as anyone,
01:48but they've got them up an absolute treat. The slick skins on them, those natural shapes and
01:53those muscles and doing abilities are backed up by incredible data. I thought it was an absolute
01:59credit to the Glatz family and the buyers today really dug in and they're getting fantastic
02:05results with their weaners. We're seeing them right the way through the December and January,
02:10February weaner sales. So yeah, credit to the Glatz family on a wonderful grafted bulls.
02:14Excellent. And to the sale itself, Gordon, I mean, you started from lot one. It just sort of
02:19took off with a bang and kept going.
02:21Yeah, it certainly did. And the clients, a lot of repeat clients here,
02:26that as Richard said, those calves that these guys are producing are doing really, really well in
02:31those weaner sales in December and January. But yeah, look, really, really good support of the
02:37sale. Like I say, mostly repeat buyers, a couple of new ones, a few people on the phone and Auctions
02:42Plus. So yeah, really good support for the Glatz family again.
02:46Excellent.
02:46And only the one bull passed in too, which was fantastic. Another 25 going to the hammer over
02:52in Victoria next week. But yeah, good grafts.
02:54And that is?
02:55That's at Braxholm down there. It's next Monday at 11am. So yeah, very,
03:01very similar drafted bulls up for grabs down there.
