We're back with Alex Miller on this week's All Wednesday, where we discuss the trip to Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday's form, VAR, and why nobody can just 'lose' anymore.
Transcript
00:00They do, they do. And look, Wednesday have been in a similar position for so much of the season, you know what I mean?
00:10It's not like they've breached that line and managed to get into the top six at any stage.
00:16So the division as it is, you know, people can have the debate over where things stand outside the top four.
00:24And obviously everyone's beating everybody. I think the points total required to get to the top six,
00:31unless a couple of teams really go on a really good run now between now and the end of the season,
00:36is expected to be a little lower than on previous seasons.
00:39So it's still anyone's game. And Wednesday are one of those teams that if they can get on a roll,
00:46no pun intended, could sort of sneak in there.
00:51But I've sort of said throughout, it just feels like maybe they're just a little bit short.
00:57Having said that and having covered Sheffield Wednesday for a reasonable amount of time now,
01:02we've said that sort of thing before and been proven very, very wrong.
01:05So, yeah, we'll see. Yeah, I mean, they're a side that, you know,
01:11I think the main thing is they've so regularly struggled against the top teams in the division.
01:16You know, they have managed to pick up wins and results against some of the lower teams.
01:20But I was looking ahead of this Burnley game and the current top five, Sheffield Wednesday,
01:24have scored a grand total of zero goals against, which, you know, considering where Leeds are at,
01:29where Sheffield United are at, you know, they are seen as being ahead of everybody.
01:34Burnley have got this ridiculous, you know, clean sheet record that they're on at the moment,
01:39a thousand minutes without conceding a goal and that kind of thing.
