00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World and today's Coffee Catch-Up.
00:03Now, I've been away on holiday recently, so it's actually been pretty fun for me to flick back through some of the work from the team over the last week and a half.
00:09We're going to start with Patrick Hollis, who's done a big piece on Manchester Jazz Festival.
00:13Shows will be performed across the city with Aviva Studios, Low Force Studios, Floored and Stage & Radio all joining the line-up of venues.
00:20There are some incredibly exciting acts set to take the city by storm too, with John Helliwell's Super Big Tramp Band one of the headliners.
00:27The festival is taking place between May 16th and the 25th and it's well worth a go.
00:31Secondly, Patrick's piece with Peter Hook is absolutely excellent.
00:34The musician was one of the key figures behind New Order and Joy Division and is set to take the stage in the summer at the Castlefield Bowl as part of the Hacienda Classical,
00:42a group that has over 70 performers and performs classic songs that would have been played in the iconic club over the years.
00:48Please do read the piece, it's top quality and unfortunately is one of Patrick Hollis' last pieces with Manchester World.
00:54It's a pleasure to work with and I really look forward to seeing where he goes next.
00:58Thank you Patrick and thank you for watching.
