00:00Up north, the City Government of Baguio launched the Panagbenga Special known as Fifty Shades of Bloom,

00:06where they showcased the photography artworks all over the city.

00:10Clint East, Dan Totanes of PIA Cordillera, tells us more.

00:15The City Government of Baguio opened the Panagbenga Special, Fifty Shades of Bloom,

00:19at the Botanical Garden. The exhibit features the photography artworks of 50 photographers

00:24across Baguio City and Binguet and beyond, thus the name Fifty Shades of Bloom.

00:29The event showcases the creativeness and interpretation of the photographers of flowers

00:33and nature.

00:34We just thought of making it a group show with all the professionals and hobbyists.

00:40So we thought, since it's the botanicals, the theme will be flowers.

00:45They will not only appreciate the photographs, but also the message of environmental conservation,

00:52that nature is very beautiful.

00:56This Panagbenga Special is a continuation of the Christmas Special at the Botanical Garden.

01:01All the lights were repurposed and reused to make a luminous presentation

01:04of the photographs at the garden at night.

01:06It's beautiful. It adds something different to the botanical garden.

01:13This is what's different here.

01:15Flowers bloom. However, they will also wither.

01:21But then, by capturing it through this picture, although they will wither,

01:27but by capturing it like this, they will not wither or die.

01:32This is the largest outdoor photography exhibit in Northern Luzon.

01:36Fifty Shades of Bloom runs until May 20, 2025, and is open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
