00:00Now we get to another divisional champion in the three seed. That
00:04would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who won the NFC South
00:07for a fourth consecutive season. Both of the years that Baker
00:10Mayfield has been the starter in Tampa. Donnie, it's hard to
00:14argue that Baker Mayfield has not had success as that
00:18Buccaneers quarterback but what exactly is the ceiling moving
00:21forward in Tampa? A ten and seven record for the Buccaneers.
00:26A thirty-four to one price entering 2025 to win Super Bowl
00:30sixty. The nineteenth overall pick in the opening round. Not
00:33a ton of cap space. That's not 600 mil. That's 600 thousand.
00:38Chris Godwin, of course, one of the notable free agents really
00:41at the wide receiver spot around the NFL but his injury
00:44history after suffering another major injury this year that
00:47sidelined him for the remainder of the season is going to be a
00:51big question. In fact, Donnie, it's question number one. Should
00:55the Bucs pay Chris Godwin following yet another injury
00:58marred campaign? Yeah, probably should. I mean, if you want to
01:01keep the boys in town right now, you did draft McMillan as
01:04we understand it. A high draft pick that used to ease into
01:07that mold but if you're saying you got Baker and he's on a
01:10decent contract too. Didn't break the bank 60 million
01:12dollars per year. You have a decent offensive line. Why not
01:15get the guys back together? Cuz it's not as if it hasn't worked
01:18here. Did it has it equated to championships with Baker
01:20Mayfield? Not necessarily but getting Baker Mayfield off the
01:23scrap heap and then winning back-to-back division
01:25championships isn't anything to shake a stick at and say
01:27that's not a good move because you are looking at them. Let's
01:30just say they do sign Godwin back. They'll battle with
01:32Atlanta probably for supremacy in the NFC South and you
01:35probably get the advantage once again to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
01:38because why? Baker Mayfield is an established veteran. Michael
01:40Penix will be entering what we think is going to be his first
01:43true year as a starter which he did show signs of life late in
01:46season and high expectations but certainly not as high as
01:48what you'd have for Baker Mayfield. So for me, answering
01:51the Godwin question, absolutely. Now, also, that
01:53doesn't mean it's a blank check out the booth and this is what
01:56you have because when you're coming off devastating injuries,
01:58you have to be a little bit cautious but I would be
02:00surprised. You still expect Mike Evans to get 1,000 yards.
02:03Why? Doesn't matter what age. It's what he does every single
02:05year. You gotta give him his running mate on one side and
02:08let McMillan fill in when you can. Solid tight end situation.
02:11It just makes too much sense. You gotta bring him back.
