00:08This was followed by his formal appointment as the new secretary of the Department of Transportation.

00:24Secretary Vince Dizon immediately suspended the full cashless payment in the expressways.

00:30This was followed by the announcement of the Toll Regulatory Board or TRB

00:34that all vehicles passing through the expressways

00:37should have a radio frequency identification or RFID starting March 15.

00:42If not, they will have to pay P1,000 to P2,500.

00:48Dizon explained that the system must be changed before it is implemented.

00:53This was tried already in the past, several years ago.

00:57And we probably all remember what happened in Baguintawak

01:00and in other choke points on NREX and SREX.

02:15Some issues facing some big-ticket infrastructure projects will also be discussed.

02:23But the right-of-way solution will not come from the Department of Transportation.

02:33from our mayors, from our governors.

02:36It will come from our private sector

02:39because a lot of the land that needs to be used is in the hands of the private sector.

02:45We have to work together.

02:47And it will come from different agencies of the national government.

02:50As for the topic of PUV modernization,

02:53Dizon said that he agrees with this.

02:55But he still needs to study this well

02:58and get the support of the transport workers.

03:05I admit that I'm not familiar with the issues,

03:08but from what I've read in your reports in the past,
