00:15attached. There were no fatalities among the 80 passengers and crew on board, but 21 people were

00:20injured. In the case of injuries, the Montreal Convention Treaty states that U.S. airlines are

00:25required to make advance payments to passengers if the airline determines that the money is

00:30necessary to cover their immediate economic needs. However, making such payments does not mean the

00:35airline admits liability, and Canadian aviation safety officials are currently investigating

00:40the cause of the crash.
