00:00There is a slowdown in the number of dengue cases in the country, according to the Department of Health.

00:10According to the government's data, 15,134 cases were reported from January 19 to February 15.

00:19That's 5% lower than the 15,904 cases from January 5 to 18.

00:26In total, more than 43,000 dengue cases were reported this year as of February 15.

00:33Calabar Zone is still ahead with more than 9,000 cases, 7,551 in NCR, while there are 7,362 cases in Central Luzon.

00:45According to the DOH, reducing the number of cases is a big help to the public in cleaning,

00:52reducing the spread of mosquitoes, and preventing misting or fogging.

00:58The DOH is also launching the 4 p.m. anti-mosquito campaign.

01:04This is the simultaneous cleaning of communities later at 4 p.m. to open the spread of mosquitoes brought by dengue.

01:13Some places in Quezon City, Iloilo, Antique, Aklan, Guimaras and Negros Occidental will be included in the campaign.

01:20Also in Davao, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Lanao del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Sarangani and General Santos City.

01:35Let's update on the weather where some parts of Sor Sugon and Palawan were flooded even though there was no typhoon.
