00:00The Ifugao Rice Cultural Museum was opened in Ifugao State University.
00:04Its purpose is to make the place more recognizable.
00:07Here are the details of the national news of Florida Robles of TIA Ifugao.
00:13To make the cultural heritage of Ifugao more recognizable to the public,
00:18the Ifugao Rice Cultural Museum was opened in Ifugao State University.
00:22The museum includes the traditional tools used in rice farming,
00:26as well as the process and ritual of the agricultural cycle
00:31from transplanting to the flowering of rice.
00:34This open house seeks to remind the public, especially the immigrants,
00:41to be educated and of course our students on the significance of traditional farming
00:47in the Ifugao society and its role in sustaining the indigenous way of life.
00:52According to the students,
00:54the open house is a great thing to see and to better understand the rice cultural heritage of Ifugao.
01:00It is very important because it shows our culture.
01:07Until now, we have these cultures.
01:14For me, it is very fulfilling and I am so happy
01:17because the tools used by our ancestors before
01:21are now here in the Ifugao Rice Cultural Museum that we can see.
01:26It also includes various local products such as handicrafts, clothes, accessories, food, and more.
01:34The open house is until April 2025.
01:37The initiative is also in line with the establishment of the National Arts Month this February.
01:43From PIA Cordillera, Florida Robles, Balitang Pambansa.
